ACDelco 25877026 GM Original Equipment Alternator

Works good .

Alternator is a little difficult to install. I had to remove a little bit of material off the top of the drillers side threaded mounting hole. Due to the bigger size of the alternator and the orientation of the bolt running thru the alternator. And I took the AC compressor loose to move the lines out of the way. Overall not a bad install. Alternator is functioning as expected so far. Edit: by the way, this was an install on a 2013 Chevy 2500HD with Diesel.

We replaced 4 brand new (defective) Napa alternators in 5 days on my dads truck!! He was freaking out the entire week-long visit to stay with me. After convincing him that his truck wasn't burning them up, and that 4 bad alternators was possible, I got him to understand the importance of why some things you just need to buy OEM. Alternators are one of them. Upon arrival, the stud that goes into the alternator was loose, but we managed to get it tightened. Otherwise it has worked flawlessly. We couldn't get one locally, and the Chevy stealership was an outrageous price. So we ordered it on Prime, baby! He was impressed. It saved my dad to get his truck back down the road on his 800 mile trip back home. Now he sees why I love Amazon lol

I was kind of worried getting this at this price because it seems too good to be true...a NEW 160 amp ACDelco OEM alternator for my 2013 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2L V8 for only $230, and no core charge either. The box came with what looks like certificates of authenticity on the outside of the box. I emailed the manufacturer and they do warranty as if I purchased from any auto parts store, regardless if it was purchased on Amazon. Looks and weighed almost identical to factory one I replaced. I actually weighed myself with out it and with it. It weighed exactly 20 pounds on my digital scale. Amazon listing says 16.89 pounds so at least it weighs more than what it should (which means it should be authentic instead of counterfeit). This fits a 2013 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2L. Many times amazon website says "this does not fit your XXXX vehicle". It does. If you go to an autoparts website and look it up, this is the part number they give. Then go back to amazon and order by that specific part lookup.

Looks brand new besides some weird paint marker writing on the side. Something that they would mark at a pull a part place were u get used parts. Either way looks new but deep down I feel it’s refurbished. Works perfect and packaging was excellent. So ignore those comments about poor packaging they went above and beyond on that aspect. No issues overall I recommend if you need a OEM alternator

Seems to be new and not remanufactered like others have received. Best price found for this AC Delco alternator. This fixed the pulsating headlights on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. If you have the same issue first clean the grounding between the alternator case and it's mounting block, your alternator may be fine and just not getting a good ground.

Installed on 2011 Silverado 5.3L. Tried two new Carquest alt. from Advanced. Both whined. This AC Delco not only weighs more and has a better feel than the lesser cost ones from your local auto parts store, it costs 50% less buying it on Amazon. This alt. arrived undamaged and in new condition. Very happy customer

Stay away from this product.Loved the 100% new OEM aspect of this product, so I ignored the "it gets damaged in shipping" warning in the reviews ... and it turns out, it totally gets damaged in shipping. The alternator looks pretty good, but the way that it was shipped, it is a miracle that only the plastic housing was cracked. It is shipped as a 20 pound chunk of metal in a crappy, totally taped up cardboard box ... it is a fail.As others have said, I am not sure if this is a new alternator or 100% newly manufactured (as in remanufactured) alternator. It looks pretty brand new, but there is some strange paint pen markings on the windings (see pictures), which doesn't look 100% OEM ... but I don't know.The net is, go to Autozone and get a remanufactured one for $147 the same day and be done with it.
