I used only the metal chassis and side bumpers skipping the adhesive disks, which didn't seem necessary. Only minor complaint is that there are no instructions and the cable was a bit longer than needed. Fortunately the ASUS documentation answers many of the installation questions and a YouTube video the rest. Folding the cable was a little tricky but not a huge problem. Apparently you can do this with these cords.
