Review: Best multi-function sprayer I've ever used! - If you've been looking for a good quality, multi-function spray gun, your search is over. This bad boy has metal guts packed inside its high density plastic body and is full of German engineered design, coupled with made-in-Germany quality. The first thing that stands out is the variable flow rate, which you can adjust at the back with the ridged knob (easy to turn with gloves on). No longer do you have to fiddle with holding the trigger just right to get the flow you want, or adjusting some goofy stop mechanism either. In fact, another wonderful feature -you don't even have to hold the trigger down at all. Dial in the flow rate you want, squeeze the trigger and then slide down the small orange button at the base of the trigger. This turns the regular trigger mechanism into a click-on, click-off toggle. Squeeze it once, and it stays on, squeeze again and it shuts off. No fatigue from holding it down the whole time. As others have pointed out, and I will re-iterate here, there are no leaks with the spray gun itself. Not a drop! Depending on how tight you reef on the quick disconnect, you might have issues with water moving past the threads because it isn't cut for a North American hose thread, but a European one. For me, it was barely noticeable, but I can understand how it would still be annoying. In my view, however, it's not enough to deduct a star because this is a German product, after all. That and it's just so good! I'm investing a bit more in the Gardena system following this purchase, because the build quality has truly impressed me and far surpasses all the import junk sold in the US at the big box and home improvement stores. If you're tired of dealing with junk and want to step up to a real spray nozzle, give one of these a try. I'm sure you won't go back.

A: From the video, and the torture testing they give their products, I think this symbol means that it resists damage from freezing.

**Q: Can this nozzle fit alone in water hose**
A: Yes, it can. It is in two pieces, one piece is the hose connecter (quick connect female end) and the other piece is the nozzle (quick connect male end). They simply snap together with no screwing or unscrewing of the nozzle.

**Q: Does it fit to 1/2 hose**
A: fits the standard US garden hose fitting found on 1/2", 5/8", an 3/4" hoses.

**Q: Can I disconnect the hose from the spray gun and connect it to a sprinkler without turning of the water?**
A: No. You would have to have a connector screwed into your sprinkler, but even with that, the pressure would build up so much that it would be very difficult to force the sprinkler onto the hose. I use GARDENA connectors on all of my sprinklers and spray guns, but I do turn off the hose when I change from one to the other.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Quality Gardena With Many Features

I have an older Gardena that has held up well, but is just getting old. I decided to try this one that has more features than the last. First, the handle is different. You don't just hold it down, you squeeze to turn on and then squeeze to turn off. It latches so you don't need to hold handle down. This isn't bad, I just haven't decided if I like this mode of operation. I am very used to holding down for spray and releasing to stop. Next, is the adjustable nozzle that my last one did not have. There are may choices, the mist is very fine and gentle while at the other end, the pencil jet is quite strong. The sprayer feels quite hefty so I assume the insides are metal with a plastic exterior. Finally, the quick stop that attaches to the hose end has a locking feature where you rotate the outer sleeve about a 1/8th turn to lock and prevent accidental disconnect. I never had accidental disconnects with the old quick stops and I find myself constantly locking the quick-release and struggling to remove nozzle while water running before realizing... hey I locked it. Overall a quality products with features that I haven't decided whether I personally need or like. But, that's a personal problem, not a product fault.
