yes, this product is very chalky and not tasty, but, hey, in a few seconds after chewing, that downside is over, and you have just put highly absorbable calcium (citrate) into your system, as well as D3, which is the D vitamin most needed for calcium absorption and treating osteoporosis. Best to research the various types of calcium and vitamin D options that you need for your particular condition, and then decide for yourself. My decision--yes to buying this product. This is my first time with chewable calcium, so maybe all supplements taste this bad. But this brand is pretty awful - very sharp, umpleasant taste. The consistency is fine but there is no flavoring added at all so....tastes like medicine. I won't buy this item again.

I cannot swallow big pills and have to use a chewable calcium citrate. Many include ingredients that I do not want such as magnesium and artificial sweetener. I like this product because it only has vitamin D. And it tastes a little minty. Would have given it a 5 star, only it can be a little chalky. Despite that, it's still the best chewable calcium citrate I have found.

Excellent way to get my Calcium and Vitamin D supplements every day, without forgetting a dose. I put 4 tablets in a shot glass each day, and I take them at regular intervals. This way I never fotget if I had taken them.
