I've had real gstar pants before and these don't feel the same. However, I still like these pants feel and they have held up to multiple wears and wash cycles. They have become 1 of my favorite pair of pants to wear. Now, I got them on a deal for $30 or $40 and at that price it's ok, but if I had paid the full gstar price I would have been salty. Stretchiness: These are an interesting material and they stretch. Fit: I got 40W/32L and they fit perfect. I like how they hug my ankles, so when I wear tennis shoes it shows them off better and with chelsea boots they just cover the top ankle portion of the boot if I want or I can stick the pant in to show the whole boot. Comfort: I feel they are comfortable. They can get a little sweaty on hot humid days when I walk a lot, but they don't chafe or rash my inner thigh, so it's ok. Material thickness: They are a pretty thin stretchy material compared to something like a levi denim.
