Not very sturdy and slightly slippery
This yoga mat is semi-firm to touch, but it isn't very dense so it is relatively lightweight (850 grams), it stretches slightly and in combination with the low thickness of 4 mm, it doesn't feel very supportive. If used on a soft floor, the mat is wrinkling and moving a lot which does not feel secure and some yoga positions do stretch the material somewhat making the exercise slightly more difficult. The mat has the same texture on both sides so it can be used on either one, there is no specialized floor surface for even better grip which is fine depending on your needs. However, the provided texture is not very grippy and in combination with the PVC which is slippery when wet this mat is not ideal for people that experience sweaty hands and feet such as myself.I have known of OEKO-TEX European certification agency for years now, but I have not yet heard that they certified PVC materials. To attain OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, the material has to be tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health. This is a step in the right direction since PVC materials previously had toxic phthalates, lead, BPA, etc. from the manufacturing process. However, the standard does not look into whether the production and disposal of PVC are toxic to the environment. We know that PVC is not biodegradable so the only way to get rid of it is to burn it. When PVC is burned, the chlorine produces extremely toxic and persistent dioxins that end up in soil, fish, animals, water, air, and ultimately in our bodies. Therefore I wouldn't necessarily say that it is eco-friendly unless the product is never disposed of.I love that it comes with instruction of how to clean the product in an easy eco-friendly way using a damp cloth or by washing it in the washing machine on 40 degrees celsius cycle. However, they could have mentioned using white vinegar as another option. The mat doesn't have a strong smell out of the box. The only major downside of this mat is that it doesn't come with a strap to hold the mat rolled up.Overall, the mat is quality made, it is easily rollable, is non-toxic but the fact it gets slippery when wet and that it is not supportive is not very reassuring for some difficult yoga positions, so I wouldn't buy it myself.

Perfect thickness
This yoga mat is the perfect thickness for not just yoga, but all kinds of workouts. It’s suitable to be placed inside the home, though it’s quite long so make sure you have ample space. Comes rolled up like all yoga mats. Will take a little while for the mat to flatten, but once you start working out, you’ll appreciate it’s softness. After using weights, I found this Mat to indent or fray a little faster than usual. It can be easily cleaned from sweat and use a damp cloth to clean any dirt from it. Good value for money.

Decent Mat
Not had too much experience of yoga mat's, this was for my wife who has just been practicing on the front room rug, she report's this is much better, none slip, it doe's have a sticky feel to it, so good on our laminate flooring, gives some comfort but I guess you don't wan't a yoga mat unlike an exercise mat to be too soft so 4mm is just right to keep your posture, roll's up easy and doe's not weigh much so easy transportable and I read eco friendly so can't be bad.

Wider than I expected.
This is a eco friendly yoga mat that is 4mm thick. As I am recovering from a spine op I particularly appreciate the thickness of this mat. Wider and longer than I am used to, this is brilliant for my exercise class and Pilates. It is nice to think we are doing something for the environment at the same time as buying something to enhance our wellbeing. This is quite grippy and easy to clean. I use a sponge and a spray bottle. I have the blue shade and it is a lovely colour and all in all this yoga mat is superb value for money, and excellent quality.

Dense comfortable material - Should age well.
This mat feels dense and is easy work with.In use its comfortable thanks to the density of the material - It has great grip and has just the right amount of "spongy bounce" to it.It doesn't stain easily and a simple clean with a damp cloth is all thats ever needed.I would recommend this as a very practical choice. The colour is somewhat neutral and the mat is pleasantly durable and shock absorbent. With some care this one should last you quite a while. Compared to other mats I have had in the past this ones material is going to last, where the others would have chipped out bits of the mat with time.

Satisfactory
This is a reasonable yoga mat in every sense. It is flexible, made and textured with non-slip foam on both sides. There is adequate cushioning and the blue colour is non-gender specific and attractive. However, it does not have any USP or wow factor. Whilst it can roll, there is no tie or carrier. For £27.95 (Amazon, September 2020), I would certainly look at other yoga mats on the market: there is a huge collection of offerings out there.
