I wasted $9 on this as it was recommended as a necessity to install the button start in a 2007 Tacoma, however all it did was cause problems as the alarm was continuously going off and the doors were locked shut on me at one point and the vehicle turned shut down on me on the highway going about 65mph, luckily I was in the middle lane and was able to stop.
