Review: A GREAT LITTLE LIGHT TABLE! - This product is simple but effective. I am old school: by profession, I am a drafter and have always had access to light tables in my work. But as computer aided design takes over, there is really not much need for a light table. Over time, light tables have disappeared from drafting offices I have worked in. But I also build plastic scale models as a hobby. I need to trace camouflage patterns to make paint masks on a pretty regular basis. Out of frustration and not being able to see through a sheet of paper to trace a camo pattern, I said to myself "too bad I don't have a light table". Then on a whim, I thought I would look on desertcart and I found this device. It is perfect for my hobby. It provides 3 levels of brightness at the touch of a button and is small enough and light enough to carry anywhere (I even found myself making paint masks by tracing a camo pattern on an index card while watching TV in bed a few nights ago). The uses for this device are limited only to your needs. I think any artist, hobbyist or graphics professional can think of a time when a device such as this would come in handy. For the price, there really is no reason not to have one. I have only had the device for a couple months so we will see how it holds up. It doesn't seem like it would take a lot of abuse so I am careful to put it away when I am not using it. But I am 100% happy with my purchase.
Review: Broke while under warranty and Foober replaced it - UPDATE: I had one star on this because of the problems below. Since then, I was contacted by the vendor (fooberus@hotmail.com), and they have shipped me a new one, so I'm quite pleased. I'm hoping that the original unit was a lemon and that this one will give me years of use. Thank you Foober! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This product worked great, was lightweight, plenty bright for tracing onto watercolor paper. But right before the warranty expired (1 year), it stopped working. I tried several things to get it to work, such as a different outlet, different cable, different adapter. No luck. Since it was under warranty, I wasn't too concerned. HOWEVER -- just TRY to contact them, I dare you! It has been over a week since I filled out the online form at the AGPtek website to report this issue and try to get assistance. Nothing. Then I called AGPtek and was given an email address (support@mambate.com) as the only way to get assistance. I emailed them. No reply. I emailed them again 2 days later. Still no reply. And now I'm down to 4 days before the warranty expires, along with a non-working piece of plastic with AGPtek in big letters on it. Checking Mambate online, I see they have terrible reviews. If I was AGPtek, I would look for someone else to provide support for my products. Hopefully your light box won't die on you. Good luck if it does :(

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A GREAT LITTLE LIGHT TABLE!

This product is simple but effective. I am old school: by profession, I am a drafter and have always had access to light tables in my work. But as computer aided design takes over, there is really not much need for a light table. Over time, light tables have disappeared from drafting offices I have worked in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for diamond painting

I've had my light pad since Feb 2019, use it a lot for diamond painting. It's lightweight, portable and it shows no signs of wear and tear at all. Still bright and the surface does not scratch easily at all. Very pleased with this purchase. Worth every penny. UPDATE: This in June, 2024 and I purchased it in 2019 and my light pad is just now having a bit of a problem with blinking. I figure 5 years of daily use and perfect function was well worth my money. I’m going to replace it with the same brand, same size and hope I get the same excellent quality from the replacement.
