Spa Genie Ultrasonic Scented Oil Diffuser

I took it out of the box, read all the instructions and used it once. It seems to have a weak stream, but it is a small unit intended for desk use, so that's okay. It is very cute and nostalgic. Although it has a night-light in the base, it is not visible once the unit is assembled, so the light feature is useless. I moved across the country and when I finally used it again, it made vapor, but the vapor wouldn't come out of the base through the tube. I finally figured out that it was because I hadn't attached the top wooden cover completely, as I was trying to let a little bit of the light show through the sides, which was a mistake because then I thought it didn't work at all. I almost gave up on it! Now that I finally got it working, I realized that I am very pleased with the fact that it turns itself on and off intermittently. I'm not sure why it has color changing lights that aren't even visible, but it works! It's a bit pricy compared to other models, but it does make you feel like a jeanie may pop out! I gave it 3 out of 5 stars for lack of visible lights, which was a main selling point for me, and because it was a little confusing to use.

On the upside, I would give the look of the product 5 stars. However, performance leaves much to be desired. I used this 3 times prior to returning the product. Although you can see the mist, it barely projects upward (maybe 1-2 inches, & then the mist goes down) -- plus, I couldn't smell it from 5 feet away. It uses up very little water -- which is a bad thing in my opinion since that means the oil isn't in the air. After running it one night for 5 hours, there was still quite a bit left in the small water cavity. Also, I wasn't happy that the water sitting in the cavity after running it was hot. Heat damages the integrity of the oils. The top & bottom pieces were tricky to pull apart -- & likely because of the heat generated in combination with the oil, it actually turned sticky to open & some of the wood grain peeled off (again, that was just from a few uses). I replaced this with the Doterra Petal Diffuser, & couldn't be happier with its performance in the short time I've owned it.

I am very pleased with this oil diffuser! It is ridiculously quiet and puts out a steady stream of oil scented vapor. It makes no messes on the surrounding surfaces where I use the diffuser. It is strong enough that it covers up to 3 room areas with scented oil. The shape of this diffuser is pleasant. The bottom of it is sturdy and stable on flat surfaces. It runs for hours at a time with little oil and little water. I use distilled water, which makes it last longer and run more efficient over time. It is a fantastic diffuser!

I cannot express how much I love this diffuser. My diffuser sets my mood every time I come home and smell it. I would recommend getting floral essential oils to go with it- mmmmmmmm the whole room will smell amazing. It comes with multiple settings and the one I use most is the 7-hour continuous mode (can be set by pressing the top button twice). The other setting is a mist once every 3 minutes I believe. It can run a whole day/night for the full seven hours. I love the product & seller- highly recommend

What can i say...have been using this diffuser for over a month now and love it! One fill seems to last longer than 8 hours on intermittent. GREAT product so far.One thing to consider with any diffuser would be if you are using several different oils (i have several different oils like peppermint, lavender, cinnamon bark, sandalwood) you may want a separate diffuser as the smell start to mix and if you are shooting for a relaxing diffuse...the peppermint coming through may not be ideal;)

Style is lovely...BUT, pieces got stuck and no amount of effort to unscrew could dislodge them. Finally, after three people tried to unscrew parts and failed, my daughter(gift recipient) put some lip balm around the seam line and that dislodged the parts. A very disappointing gift

Was very disappointed. ...not worth the sale price.....and the light in it?? That's a real joke

When I opened the lid to refill with more water and oils the top half cracked. There is now a big split down the center, and I have only really used this product on 3 different occasions. Very disappointed with the quality of the product, especially considering how much I paid for it. I was not applying excessive force or anything, I was just simply opening it when it split.
