Not great but not terrible either

These burner locks are easy to install and do not take any additional tools. With an elderly parent at home, and a toddler grandson and large dog, these work well and give me peace of mind and a good night's sleep. I no longer worry that the gas burners will accidentally be turned on resulting in a gas leak or house fire.

Got up one morning to a continuous clicking coming from the kitchen and one of the burners was on low. Luckily they’d also managed to light the gas, otherwise who knows what would have happened. These silicone wedges work well at keeping the knobs stationary so we won’t have any further issues.

Without these, our cat constantly turns our stove on when he jumps on it. These prevent that from happening with very little hassle.

These were not the cheapest option available and don’t work that great on my stove. My stove is a few years old and these were to long and get stuck in the oven door. They also do not fit tightly on the knob so when it is slid down to use the burner it hangs down even lower. They do however prevent the burner from being accidentally turned on so I guess they do the trick but I wished they got tighter and maybe came with an option to trim them if need be.

Our microwave is right above our stove so a few times I have reached up to get something out of the microwave and accidently turned on a gas burner- heart attack! These have prevented that! Easy to use, easy to swing around when not needed. Only thing is if we don’t put it back up after cooking they hang down and get caught in the oven door, but so far they haven’t melted or anything if that happens.
