I live in South Florida, where the weather remains very hot and humid most of the year. This summer, we are having more rain than usual, which has caused an influx of no-see-ums, which are tiny, almost invisible flying insects. In all the years I have lived in Florida, I have never been bitten by any of them, that is until now! My neighborhood has been invaded by them and, whenever I open my door, they are waiting to attack! While bringing in bags of groceries last week, they managed to get inside my home. Since then, I have been bitten so many times that I have lost count!I never realized, until now, that their bite is much worse than a mosquito bite! My body seems to be allergic to their bites, so they grow from a regular sized bite into a huge, itchy welt. NOTHING stops the itching! I tried using hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar and aloe vera gel. The bites kept getting worse and I was beginning to lose my mind! I am very allergic to so many things, so I looked on Amazon for something that could stop the horrific itching and not cause any allergic reactions.When I found this kids formula, for sensitive skin, I immediately purchased it. When I received it, I slathered it on and massaged it into the skin until the violent itching started to subside. The smaller bites stopped itching right away, but the larger welts took some effort and some time before they stopped itching. I used a large amount of the product on them and massaged them until the areas were completely covered with a white layer of the cream. I love the tea tree oil smell. For the first time in a week, I am at peace now and without any itching at all. I just ordered another tube of this cream to make sure that I always have it around when I need it.

This stuff is amazing!My 2 year old is allergic to mosquito bites, every bite swells up to the size of a half dollar and last for weeks. I know to dress him in long sleeves and pants and use bug spray but he's got some family members that will let him play outside in the evening in shorts.I bought this because of the good reviews and because there aren't many bite creams you can give to 2 year olds. This cream worked very well, the bites reduced in size the next day when it would usually take several days.The only problem I had with it was that I lost the lid behind my dresser so I just used cling wrap to cover the top but it has held up well and not dried out. I would definitely buy this again.This is my top recommendation for mosquito bite cream for kids.

I bought the kids one because it was sooo much cheaper than the adult one weirdly and wasn’t going to pay extra for same ingredient stuff! The tube is a little smaller than a thing of toothpaste. The smell is not horrible kind of a nice smell! The color is a white cream and blends in clear on skin. And works instantly!! I live on a farm and always covered in bug bites and they are soo itchy and uncomfortable and this stuff makes it stop fast and helps them go away!

My daughter got 2 mosquito bites on her leg. Both were a bit swollen. This cream doesn’t help at all and not even soothing the itches. She had itches for 2 days. Probably it’s just as it says for minor bites only. My wife ordered another mosquito bite relief to try out. If your kid is sensitive to mosquito bites, it’s better to look for other relief treatments.

Mosquitoes and any other biting insects are drawn to myself and both of my kids like moths to a flame. This was my first purchase of After Bite, but we all 3 agree that it works much better than what we had been using (hydrocortisone or diphenhydramine aka Benadryl cream. This works almost immediately on contact to relieve itching. I don't know about pain, as we haven't been stung by anything (like a wasp or bee) since purchasing. I will definitely be buying this again!

i bought several different of these kinds of bite remedies. this one i didnt like too much. the green package afterbite with baking soda and amonia was the best one. it took away the itching and helped heal. this one burned and didnt do much for me sorry to say. the afterbite had a wipe in a packet with the same green baking soda and amonia formula. that was the best . easy to put on yourself. these pen applicators are hard to use on places you cant see or reach to easy,. you have to have someone else do it for you. the tender company of course discontinued the wipes. you can only get 3 packs in a $300 medical bag kit they sell. to me the wipes were best they had. i would of bought 100pcs to have. notice companies always get rid of the good stuff. they only care about what sells the most.they could care less about what the consumer thinks.they wont listen or make the wipes available again.

I actually used this on myself the day it arrived. I had at least 10 mosquito bites on my legs and immediately put this cream on. It took about 30 minutes for the itching feeling to go away and when I woke up in the morning all of my bites were gone! I've also used this on my son and same thing.

I am thankful that this works! I got two fire ant bites on my wrist and finger that itch and swell so badly. If I just let it be, it would take at least a week for the itch to go away. I applied cortisone cream the first day while waiting this item. I received this item the next day and started using it. It is more effective in reducing the itchy than cortisone cream. Also, the swell on my finger and around the area starts to go down in a few hours. The wrist bite took longer to be effective, but overall both nearly gone in 24 hours after applying this cream. Also, the cream drys off and not sticky after rubbing on the skin. It's comfortable and it stays on. The quantity is on the lower side. I think I have used 1/3 of the tube. Nevertheless, I am so glad this works and thanks to Amazon's fast shipping. I would buy a few more to keep it handy.
