Socks definitely run a bit large

Comfy, fit well, and most of all, they don't leave indentations on my calves. Many socks are made for people with very thin ankles/calves. Mine aren't huge but I'm a bit stocky and they are fine.

I found these to be socks that fit all five of my toes on my respective feet. If I was missing a toe or two, these wouldn’t fit very well.

These socks are very well made. I have had socks from other brands lose their softness after a few washes. The Merrell socks after many washes still feel as comfortable and soft as the day they were bought. Great socks. Just bought these again two years after my original purchase. The original socks are still in great shape, I just wanted more!

Before buying, I read the reviews saying that the socks were too large. So i purposely bought the smallest size offered. They are huge. I tend to think the seller had one irregular size of sock and no matter what anyone ordered, is just trying to offload these. Otherwise the socks are warm and made well

I looked at the sizing for these socks and bought the appropriate size based on that chart. The sock technically fits. However, the heel is several inches too high. If I had high hiking boots that covered that up it would be no big deal. All my hiking boots are shorts and will show these heels which looks weird and feels weird. Wish I had not been camping and needed to wear a pair. I would have returned these for a smaller size.
