Like many people, I tended to write Bible study notes on random pieces of paper or in various notebooks, occasionally trying writing directly in my Bible, but never quite getting the hang of it, not to mention - what to do when I switch Bibles? This beautiful, high-quality leather-bound book is the perfect solution!Brilliantly simple in design, it features two blank lines for every single verse in the Bible for your notes, plus several extra lined pages at the end of each book (depending on the length of the book). The book is just so gorgeous and elegant - supple black leather, paper similar to Bibles (thin but not fragile), and gilt edges.I just got mine, and right now I'm using pencil, but hopefully after I feel more confident I will switch to a fineline pen. My plan to use the extra pages is to expand on the two alotted lines per verse when needed: Add an asterisk after the original two lines of notes, then flip to that book's extra pages and jot down the chapter and verse reference, then add the additional notes for the verse in question. If I ever have additional notes for the same passage, I can make the notes and then add a second (third, fourth, etc) asterisk to remind me that there is more than one additional note to look for.Besides the beautiful quality of the book and the simple-to-use layout, my favorite thing about the Jot Bible Journal is that this single volume will hold a lifetime of notes no matter how often I switch Bibles. A true Godsend!Yes, its a fairly hefty book, similar to any good-sized study Bible, but as others have mentioned, leave it at home and jot down notes in a small notebook at church or elsewhere, then transfer to the book later. Its not cheap, but it's a lifetime investment that you will treasure and enjoy using and referring to. Highly recommended.

I don't often leave feedback online, but I felt compelled to having received this item.I am from Northern Ireland so I had to order off Amazon.com to get this notebook. I ordered it January 11th and received it today which is the 22nd; almost a week before it was due to arrive.The notebook itself is fantastic! It's around the size of a Local Church Publishers "Notetakers" bible which is quite a big book. The cover is genuine leather but feels softer and of superior quality than normal genuine leather. The inside is the important part though... every verse of every chapter of every book of the bible has 2 lines for taking your personal study notes! There are also extra pages at the end of each book for more notes.I am very pleased with the service from Amazon and am thankful to those who made this notebook and put it on sale at half price. I would definitely have payed full price for it; it's excellent quality!This will be a great tool for anyone who loves the Lord Jesus Christ! All glory be to Him alone.

This is a great tool for being able to write your notes regarding your Bible Study in a book that appears like a Bible from the outside. But it is all blank pages on the inside. The pages are aligned with books of the Bible and chapters and verse. You can take your notes here and have it all in one place for when you want to teach or reference your own work.The other thing that this will be good for is providing an heirloom of your Bible Study work for your children and grandchildren.We are to train up our children in God's word and this would be a perfect gift for them after you are gone so that they can remember the many lessons that you have taught them.

I LOOOOOOVE this journal.....it doesn't get any better than this...if you are studying the scriptures, you are going to want this.... the workmanship and the quality is far beyond what I expected and will last a lifetime...plenty of writing space and extra pages for more notes at the end of each book, plus some blank pages at the beginning and the end of the book...I put tabs in just like my Bible, and it is wonderful.....

This is a beautiful book. It's very large and until you open it up you would think it was a Bible. It came very quickly and was well packaged just like a Bible. It has only two lines for each verse and so you don't have a whole lot of room to write your thoughts on a verse that really speaks to you but I have gone into the next verse if it is one I know I won't be writing on and just used whiteout to block out the number of the next verse. I am very happy with it and it's something I'll be using for a very long time. I am also writing in pencil in case I want to write something different at a later time.

This Journal is Gorgeous I love how at the end of each book you are given extra pages for notes about the book I have been looking for something like this for years it is made very well and will be in our family for generations thank you!

I just bought this Bible journal and love it already. What a wonderful idea to have all one's notes, thoughts, all in one place. A great companion to keep alongside God's Word, the Bible. Absolutely the best thing to come along in a very long time. Nice to know I won't run out of space and have to keep up with multiple journals/composition books.
