Take an 18-inch piece of floss and wind it around your middle fingers, leaving about 2 inches between your hands. 2. Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers. 3. Guide the floss between your teeth using a gentle rubbing motion. 4. When the floss reaches the gum line, curve it into a C shape against one tooth. 5. Gently slide it into the space between the gum and tooth. 6. Move the floss up and down along the side of the tooth, making sure you reach below the gum line and between the tooth and gum. 7. So not sure if Oral B manufacturing process has changed or what but the quality is bad: the threaders are much shorter and harder to thread through teeth and the fluffy part is not quite the same either. Mint causes GERD. **Q: What is the difference between super floss & regular floss? My dentist recommended super floss but I don't understand beyond "you have wide spaces"** A: The super floss is wider than regular floss. For the one that has those wide spaces between the teets, it is better. I use it for , at least , the last 15 years, and I´m very satisfied. I really recommend it. Best regards **Q: I have a problem with some products getting between my bridge and my gum. Does the threader tip have plastic on it to get thru easily?** A: Yes, it does. There is about 3” or so of a harder plastic to thread between you gums and your bridge. Sometimes the plastic is a little blunt, making it difficult to insert, but just clipping a little off helps a great deal! **Q: How long are they? I normally use 12 in. or so of regular floss.
