Review: Wonderful. READ THE DIRECTIONS. And join the Facebook group for support and questions. - Proov tests have been a game changer in building my confidence with charting my cycles. I've been using them for over a year to confirm ovulation (since I already know that I have low progesterone and don't need them as much for that purpose). I also chart temp and mucus signs, but these are an important confirmation for me when things look confusing. Make sure when you use them to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Taking a baseline test before you ovulate is important - because your progesterone may be too low to turn the test completely positive, but high enough to confirm ovulation (if your post peak proov is lighter than your baseline, it's enough to confirm ovulation, and then you can also test later in your luteal phase to see if progesterone is high enough to sustain the beginnings of a pregnancy). Take photos of the test within 5-10 minutes of testing because the results are invalid outside of that window. Use first morning urine. Did I mention you should read and follow the directions? ;) There is also a Facebook group for Proov users that is super helpful with asking questions, posting test photos, etc. So join that if you can because it will help to talk to people about the process, because these tests are different than other kinds of test strips. In all, I'm super happy with these. They have saved me a LOT of bloodwork appointments, and anxiety of making sure I marked the right ovulation date on my chart. They seem pricey, but you only need to use 1-4 tests per cycle (your baseline is good for 6 months, and you don't need to test every day post ovulation to get the info you need), so they last a while. I use them every cycle and buy about 3 packs per year. Totally worth it to save the hours of waiting at a bloodwork appointment, having to take off work to go during lab hours, etc. when I can just pee in a cup. If you do discover that you have low progesterone, then this is really helpful to bring to your doctor and talk about getting a post peak bloodwork series done to get more information, and hopefully a prescription for bio-identical progesterone to support your body (and a pregnancy) if you need it.
Review: Helped Me Identify A Problem. Fingers crossed the Progesterone works🤞🏻. - After my second miscarriage in November 2020, I became obsessed with tracking my menstrual cycles trying to conceive again (won’t lie I still am). For the past two years since having my 3rd daughter in 2017 my cycles slowly changed from every 29-30 days to now every 24-26 days. After paying attention to my ovulation strips, I noticed my luteal phase was 10-11 days. As I was getting a positive OPK CD 14 (meaning around CD 15 or 16 I was ovulating). Then starting my period not too long after. Always starting with brown spotting the first day. When I conceived in October 2020, I was taking a variety of supplements from B6-B12 to evening primrose oil, fish oil, prenatal, vitamin E, potassium, etc. I stopped all supplements except a prenatal once I found out I conceived that cycle. Then at about 7 weeks the brown spotting began, and it felt just like every month where it starts of with brown that turns into red. During my follow-up miscarriage appointment I made it a point to tell the doctor that I believed after researching on Dr. Google that I had a luteal phase defect. She told me that it was just bad luck to have another miscarriage & that it’s common as you grow older; as many pregnancies result in miscarriage. I just turned 29 in March 2021. I argued that my first two daughters were conceived at 16 & 18. My body was much different now as a woman. At 25 I had an early miscarriage then 3 months later conceived my 3rd daughter. Now a few years later I’ve miscarried again, only this time my periods have become more frequent leading to shorter cycles. The doctor told me at that follow up appointment that she would wait until I got a positive test to prescribe progesterone. & it wasn’t because she thought something was really wrong, it was only to appease me since I wouldn’t let up on it. 3 months into trying after my miscarriage and cycles continuing to range from 24-26 days, I decided to get a second opinion. This time I found PROOV, I was going to prove to my next doctor that something WAS wrong. PROOV showed me that I WAS ovulating but like the creator of PROOV, my progesterone would rise & give a positive PROOV test for 2 days and then negative the following 3 days for 10DPO, then the brown spotting would begin and then the finally the next day my period. I brought this up to my new doctor & he ran a multitude of tests. HSG (tube test), ultrasound, & blood/blood clot tests, and finally the day 21 progesterone test. On day 21 my progesterone was a 12.3. This made sense because I know I am ovulating and my PROOV test was positive the previous cycle on 7DPO. When every test came back normal my doctor said it was good that they found nothing wrong. We could try clomid. Scared to try clomid, and after reading up a LOT on progesterone and the PROOV creators personal story, I asked to try progesterone suppositories for a few months (2-3) before moving to clomid. Without hesitation the doctor said yeah, you are on the shorter side of a luteal phase. Can’t hurt. You can try it, that’s fine. Then we can move to clomid if it doesn’t work. I’m now on month 5 of trying to conceive. I know that’s not as long as a lot of women... But after two early miscarriages. I just want to do everything I can, even though I know I don’t have control. I’m hoping my story is as happy as the PROOV creator. Where I can conceive with progesterone suppositories & carry one last baby to term with no brown spotting, no miscarriage, and just a healthy baby. This will be my first month trying with progesterone. I will be sure to update if it works! If it does and the luteal phase defect/progesterone not staying elevated long enough was my problem I will be sure to let everyone know that this product was PROOV that I really did have a progesterone issue & that doctors need to start listening to women rather than blowing them off.

## Features

- IMPLANTATION, YOUR MISSING PIECE IN THE FERTILITY JOURNEY: Getting pregnant isn’t just about the egg meeting the sperm, as only 50% of good eggs will implant in the uterus. While OPKs tell you when to try, Proov Confirm testing system confirms if PdG levels stay elevated during implantation, giving insight into the implantation window—not just whether ovulation occurred. High Scores are clinically proven to increase pregnancy rates up to 75%, giving women more insight than a standard ovulation test.
- GET PREGNANT FASTER: Successful ovulation is key to pregnancy and is more than a yes/no. Beyond releasing an egg, it’s about enough progesterone to thicken the uterine lining for implantation. Our testing system analyzes hormone markers released after ovulation, for multiple days during the critical implantation window, to confirm levels stay elevated and maximize your pregnancy chances.
- GET YOUR IMPLANTATION READINESS SCORE: Without enough progesterone after ovulation, your uterus can’t create the environment an embryo needs to implant and thrive. With the free Proov App, you'll get clear results, your exclusive Progesterone Score, and personalized next steps—all from the comfort of home. Proov makes tracking your fertility simple, clear, and effective, while being the only at-home test to analyze your implantation window.
- THE ONLY FDA-CLEARED TEST TO TRACK HORMONES IN THE IMPLANTATION WINDOW: Proov Confirm is backed by science and trusted by thousands of women. With our patented protocol, we’re the ONLY brand delivering FDA-cleared implantation window testing, which analyzes if progesterone remains elevated during the implantation window—because implantation is required for pregnancy.
- 1:1 SUPPORT: You’re not alone. Every Proov purchase includes access to personalized solutions to boost pregnancy chances, from supplements to fertility treatments prescribed by a doctor, along with 24/7 support from our caring team of hormone experts.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What level of progesterone (sensitivity/reliability) does this check? Is there a brochure for medical professionals?**
A: Great question. Proov turns positive when urine PDG levels are > 5 ug/ml. Clinical studies show this level of PDG correlates to a serum progesterone level of about 10 ng/ml. Proov measures PDG in urine as opposed to progesterone in serum because research shows sustained urine PDG levels are a better marker of overall luteal phase health than a single serum progesterone level. This is due to the fact that serum levels can spike and fall 8X in a single 24 hour period. If you are a medical professional, please email us for more info info@proovtest.com Thanks

**Q: There are no lines at all. is this defective? or am i using it incorrectly? i dipped it in for 5 seconds and laid it flat. zero lines. please advise.**
A: My problem is that only the control to is showing no test line at all does that mean both tests two different mornings are defective? Or I tested to soon after period? I put in to line wait until it went up the line them set a timer for 5 mins.

**Q: What is the sensitivity of the test? In other words what level of pdG makes the test turn positive?**
A: Proov turns positive when progesterone metabolites (PDG) in urine are above 5 ug/ml. Clinical studies show that 5 ug/ml PDG in the urine correlates to about a serum progesterone level of 10 ng/ml.

**Q: Can you use these to track a canines progresterone levels for breeding??**
A: Unfortunately no, this only works on humans.

### ⭐ Inaccurate results DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
*by B***R on May 28, 2020*

Inaccurate and faulty test. They advertise as FDA approved & even for use by PCOS patients. Which led me to buy into the hype of all the good reviews and over look the bad ratings on Amazon. Check out Amazon to read other ladies 1 star reviews, you will see this was NOT an isolated experience. It is ridiculous that this keeps happening! The tests were awful for that second line not going away (on these tests, no second line would mean I ovulated and my progesterone level is rising) Every one of them had not just faint lines, but faint lines with color in them (suggesting I had not ovulated and had low progesterone). Side note: I purchased before my drs appt but ended up using them anyway. Not only were they inaccurate & but also faulty. I followed directions Exactly as specified and the test line never went away. 1 of the 7 tests didn't even progress across the window. For $40 for 7 tests thats ridiculous. They ALWAYS still showed a second pink line (it was faint but there) by Proov's standard means that I did not ovulate. Which is not true because I had extensive lab testing done and tracked BBT and opks. I was also very disappointed in the fact that if you take 3 different photos of the same test within the correct time frame, each photo you upload to their App Reader gives you a different Rating. I deleted them off the app but still have the photos. You will get a different Result Rating in their app if you use a flash or brightly lit bathroom versus a dim bathroom that will not washout the photo making the App reader even more inaccurate. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. For $5 more you can go online and order your own lab test to have your progesterone serum checked for $45 no insurance necessary by a qualified lab like Quest Diagnosics and Lab Corps.
