Diane & Geordi Fajas 2397 Colombiana Post Surgery Compression Garments Full Body

Diane & Geordi is a great brand for fajas-- this is the 2nd style I have used!
I purchased this Diane & Geordi liposuction compression garment – style # 2397 to use after I had liposuction and smart lipo on my abdomen, flanks, bra back fat, inner/outer thighs and knees on April 10, 2019. This garment was the longest one I found and I preferred the fabric and closure to other brands that you can purchase on Amazon. This garment stops above the knee. I ended up putting this on 48 hours after my surgery because my surgeon said I could. I found the garment to be more comfortable than the ace bandages that I was sent home with. **Please ask your surgeon when you can wear this garment.** This is my second round of lipo so I planned ahead and bought this a few weeks before my surgery. I do not think this garment offers much compression on your back and after wearing it for about 1 week I found it to become loose at the bottom on both legs. There are extenders in the package that you can connect to the straps which is GREAT and I needed them to make this more comfortable. I think this garment offers great compression on your abdomen/flank area as well as upper thighs. I wash this garment in a laundry bag and hang to dry. There IS a crotch hole if you choose to use that feature (I do not—the idea of sitting on the toilet with this and then laying in bed grosses me out) and it’s pretty long and wide compared to the crotch hole on some of their other styles. Like my other Diane & Geordi fajas, this particular faja has been significant when it comes to healing from my recent surgery.I already have 3 DIANE & GEORDI brand fajas – style # 2396. The length of that style ends on your upper thigh. That style is good if you only have to compress your abdomen and flank area in my opinion. That’s what I wore in November 2018 after having liposuction and smart lipo done on my abdomen, flanks and bra fat.I wear “Lateral Protectors” (they’re foam boards) with BOTH styles of the Diane & Geordi faja to help make them comfortable. I put the lateral protectors on my sides horizontally and then I place two disposable surgical pads (found at Walmart) directly underneath the snap/zipper closure because I find that hardware irritates my skin after a while. If I find I need more cushion, I just use more disposable surgical pads. I was unable to fit an abdomen board underneath both styles… it was just too tight and uncomfortable. Search the term “lateral protectors” to get those. I wash them in a laundry bag and hang to dry. I actually bought 4 total and have used a lateral protector underneath the snap/zipper closure instead of surgical pads a few times. I HIGHLY recommend this accessory for any faja purchase.

Post op Brazillian Butt Lift...amazing garmet.
I recently underwent a brazillian butt lift that included liposuction to my flanks, back of legs and inner thighs. It is critical in post op care to compress the areas that were liposuctioned. The doctor issued me a medium sized garmet. I am not certain what brand it was but I wasn't happy with the way it cut the back of my legs and my upper buttock. Additionally the medium was too big after about a week when the swelling went down. It just didn't stand up to hard core wear. It is also worth mentioning the garmet issued by the doctor had a bare buttocks style. This wasn't optimal when my surgery was performed in the heat of summer and with a house of children. I really didn't want to wear layers of clothes on top of the compression garmet or constantly moon my sons. I ordered this garmet in a medium and found it kept it's size better than the one the doctor ordered. I also liked the modest coverage of the buttock while not applying pressure. I did find the opening for urinating was a little to the rear as some reviews have mentioned but I like this for a couple reasons. 1.The opening didn't pull my lower buttocks forward. 2. I found it easier to use the stand up lady potty with this style. That made using the restroom so so much easier. It has been several months since I purchased my garmet and since I have ordered a 2nd in size small as I have lost a little weight. I enjoy sleeping in it and often wear it under clothes just for a slimming effect....so flattering on your rear and thighs. I am 5'7 with a lean athletic build. Approximately 140lbs and long waisted..the medium is super comfortable but effective while the small really sucks me in and provides amazing compression. You can't go wrong with this garmet!!! If you are post op Brazilian Butt Lift it is the absolute way to go.

Nice well made garment, good tight compression
This is a well made compression garment. I bought a size large but maybe needed the medium. My thinnest part of my waist is like 31 inches, 39 inch hips 35 under bust and im 5'4 150 lbs so I followed the size chart weight list for shorter heights and bought the size large. It's roomy in the butt cheeks area (I'm not curvy, no booty) and it's looser along my legs and thighs area so I think size medium would fit me. But it's also very tight compression around my torso where I need the compression the most so this works well enough for what I need post surgery. I'm 6 weeks post op and can't imagine cramming my body Into this sooner- i had to suck in and engage my muscles a little to get it on, ouch. Have someone help you get this on, pulling from the back while you handle the front. It's way easier with help I am not sure if I can put this on alone. Also need an abdominal board in the front to keep the zipper from creasing when you sit, I am using thick folded flannel for now and it protects my TT from pressure along my muscle repair. I also took a pair of scissors to the breast area to make it fit my body better, it was pretty tight around my breasts. Much more comfy now.

Honest Feedback here,I purchased this to wear for a lipo procedure I am having tomorrow, unfortunately this will not work. I am an honest Medium. 5'5 130 lbs 34D. It is made of a very sturdy material and once you attempt to put it on it seems as though this thing will not even get over your thighs, but I kept at it and got it on. First off I will compliment the abdominal portion of this compression garment was very well made, once it is hooked and zipped it made a very smooth silhouette and I felt very secured in it. Now for the complaints, It was very difficult to get the garment on, it had no give. The zipper needed to be a little longer to allow your hips to slide through waist portion better. The Thighs of the garment were huge! The material was very baggy around my knees. The rear of the garment had these weird corners at the seams. I do not have a flat butt, but you would need to have pointy butt cheeks to fill the curves of this thing. The baggy material on my butt was very unflattering and very uncomfortable. This could not be worn under anything discreetly.

It's to loose in some areas but very tight in ...
It's to loose in some areas but very tight in offers that makes deep marks in your skin. You have to protect your skin with lipo foam and abdominal board or the zipper will bend in your tummy.
