Lucky Cat MANEKI NEKO Solar Power Dancing Figure Japanese Fortune

I love this little lucky cat. When I got my car in 2015, I bought one of these and velcro'ed it to the dashboard. It lived out it's little life there waving at me for almost three years until that car was totaled in an accident. When I got my new car, I ordered another. When the kitty waves, it makes a little tap tap sound as the paw hits the face that I actually kind of missed! My new car was just not complete without my little waving cat.The shipping time on this does take a while, since it seems to come from Japan, but I think it's so cute it's worth the wait! I wasn't able to find anything else like it closer to home.

Works as designed, super cute! However it seems to make a faint tapping sound that can get a little irritating once you notice it in a quiet room, I think the arm just barely hits the cheek when it comes up. My mother (who was the one I gifted it to) was able to gently adjust the arm and get it to stop doing it though so this may not be an issue for everyone.

Product functions as it should. While it might look or feel more on the cheap side to some, I find it charming.I put it on the dashboard near the driver's seat because I am a sucker for charms. I like to think it brings me both good fortune and good luck (with my driving, I need the latter of the two the most).Worth the money, imho.

I bought this for my boss because she loves these little solar dancers. Everytime I go talk to her I see it waving at me.

Gift for a friend who collects them.
