I’ve been searching for a rice cooker that’s good for 1-2 people. I have a 10 cup rice cooker that takes up a lot of space and I really just use that for when I have company over. This rice cooker is the perfect size for just me. As you can see, it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, and it’s easy to tuck away. Rice cooks pretty quickly. So far I’ve only cooked a cup of uncooked rice (1 cup uncooked + 1 cup water) which I think makes about 2 cups? I don’t like my rice too mushy or too firm, but I found the 1-to-1 ratio perfect. It’s also very easy to clean, barely have to scrape any rice off the inner bowl and I no longer need to soak it in water. It comes off pretty easily. Cooking is fast, I haven’t actually timed it, but I’d say maybe 10 minutes or less for 1 cup? Anyway, I would definitely recommend this rice cooker. Yes, it cooks less rice but its a little more expensive... but you’re paying for quality. I’ve purchased a cheap 3 cup to 6 cup rice cooker made of poor quality material and didn’t last long.
