Have not yet used it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but very sturdy. *by E***. on October 19, 2021* Bought this little hatchet for my grandson, who is into scouting, camping etc. This tool is extremely sturdy and very sharp, right out of the package. Smaller than I thought, and doesn’t fit my hand well, but I thought, for a Boy Scout, should be good. The quality of the tool is superb; the quality of the sheath, not so much. The sheath is more of an afterthought, and really doesn’t fit with the hatchet. I would have liked this tool much better with a composite handle, that would provide a firm grip. The wood looks very pretty, but is slippery in your hand; one thing you don’t want with this thing is a sliding grip near the blade. Also, I would have liked some type of hammerhead on the other side for tent pegs, etc. All in all, good quality tool, sheath is sort of crappy, and smaller than I thought. I’m going to be returning this item - this is not a tool for a kid or teen.
