Best Gerber out there
This is by far my favorite knife Gerber has out today. At first I was a bit iffy because when you first receive the knife it is very stiff and with no blame tightening adjustment screw it's kinda confusing on why it's so difficult to open.. but just oil/wd-40 the bearing and actuate the blade a few times and she'll loosen up. Plus I was reading and I guess all Gerber knives have a "break in" period... Mine was about two weeks. . Now that this knife is broken in I don't think it could be made any better.I love how thin the blade is and I love the edge it takes. Super sharp, super durable for it's thin profile. Awesome looking and a great conversation starter....I recommend getting one 💯%Thanks Gerber for my new favorite knife!

Quality product!
This knife is physically and functionally appealing in terms of sharpness. It is a great value and feels like you’re getting more than what you pay for. I just can’t figure out how to open it like the guy in the video, maybe because I have small hands.

Quirky folder
First off, this knife isn't easy to open when new. It does need a break-in period (and maybe some WD-40). Once out of the break-in period, it does take some practice to get open fast. Tip: sweeping your thumb around the opening end while flicking your wrist does the trick. It's a large, sharp pocket knife, that is a bit ostentatious. Now for the cons: it's not easy to close one handed. I've resorted to pressing the release and using my leg to close it. The other issue is the heel of the blade gets caught on things and it almost needs a guard. I also wish it came in fully anodized black.

Difficult to open.
It's beautiful but extremely difficult to open. I have mixed feelings about it because a traditional Japanese pocket knife (what it's based on) would also be difficult to open as friction is the main mechanism keeping it open; this the need for the opening tab. However, I just feel like in today's day and age a new knife should glide open with a frame lock to secure it.
