Fantasia Materials: 2 lbs Lodestone (Magnetite) Rough Stones from Colorado, USA

Absolutely Gorgeous stones! The colors are just prismatic and look like a rainbow captured into these with the pot of gold all in each stone! You get a nice variety, and the sizes vary from half-dollar to golf-ball sized stones. I am a jewelry designer, so I found they were easy to break down. I put them in a 2 plastic zip lock bags, then took a rubber mallet onto a hard work surface and they broke into smaller sizes. They are just as beautiful on the inside! However, they are a bit soft, so you will have some small chips and "colorful glitter residue" in the bag if you do break them down. The stones when broken down into smaller pieces are also a somewhat soft (as this stone is a softer stone itself), to work with, so you may want to use a clear coat spray lacquer seal to keep the stones from having any chipping. I haven't tried any shaping/cutting or polishing of the stones, as they most likely are too soft, and they are just beautiful in their natural state. I just wire wrap them, letting them shine!(If you do decide to break the stones down to a smaller size, I recommend this as a safety precaution, be sure to wear gloves and safety glasses so you don't get injured or stone splinter fragments in you hands/fingers! The stones will leave a black dusty residue when you handle them, whether you leave them as they are or break them down, so you will want to rinse them off with cold water do not use any soap, just water).The seller was very quick with shipping and the packaging was extremely well packed with the stones wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and labeled with identification of the stones and origin from where they came from (Mexico). They took great care and love of their product and it's obvious they love what they do and care about their customers! I will be glad to purchase from them again! I think they have great price point, quality and quantity of their products!These beauties will not disappoint you! Received order as promised. Stones are beautiful, with just the right amount of shine. Stones are too large for jewelry, but an excellent size for crystal healing and Reiki. Thank you. May add another item to m store.

I'm not sure what the difference between this and all my other bornite is, but the coloring has been chipping off endlessley. I can hardly even handle them without getting blue and sparkles all over my hands. I definitely have to be careful about storage. That doesn't seem natural. However they are lovely so I will give them 4 stars.

So many stones I see on line are a lot smaller than I anticipate because I am not metric knowledgable. These stones are very large and just beautiful. I can not wait to wire wrap one next week.

Wasn't at all what I expected. I thought Loadstone was magnetic

I was very pleased. I received 6 pieces a little smaller than the palm of my hand each and they were stunningly beautiful. I would definitely consider buying more in the future. If I had enough money I would buy enough to put out in our landscaping. I love them

I was concerned about the size of the stones I would receive, was afraid they would be small pieces but was very happy with product I received. I ordered multiple items and the stones are even larger than described in both items. Haven't run them through the poshier yet but I have no reason to be concerned about how they will turn out. Excellent product.

I got three nice pieces about "center of my palm" size. They have a nice "fools gold" glitter to them. Each is different in terms of how much and what shade of blue predominates, but mine are very close to the samples shown online.
