My hand tends to smudge the paper. Is this set a quick dry? If not, could you point me to another set with assorted colors that is?** A: It won't smear. I'm left handed as well and love the boldness. It's not instand dry but close. The 1.6mm bold puts a lot more ink on the paper, so it does not last anywhere near as long as the original Cristal. I write a fair amount and I get about 10 days only out of one pen. If you like it, I'd say stock up. I would consider this on par with the papermate 700rt. **Q: How do you turn off the secret ink bomb feature? it's spooging ink everywhere.** A: This has happened to me a couple of times and I toss the pen. As inconvenient as it can be, I still love the distinction of the ink....it’s so clearly evident. I do, however, suggest informing Bic of the problem of ink oozing. **Q: Is there an orange colored pen?** A: There is no orange. Purple, turquoise, light blue, black, dark blue, pink, lime green and red. ## Frequently Bought Together - BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pen, Bold Point (1.6mm) For Vivid And Dramatic Lines, Blue, 24-Count - BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pen, Bold Point (1.6mm) For Vivid And Dramatic Lines, Black Ballpoint Pens, 24-Count - BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pens, Bold Point (1.6mm), NEW ASSORTED COLORS, 48 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/220662648-bic-cristal-xtra-bold-ballpoint-pen-bold-point-1-6mm](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/220662648-bic-cristal-xtra-bold-ballpoint-pen-bold-point-1-6mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
