The duo experimented with every ingredient they used, and ended up with the fluffiest, tastiest just-add-water pancake & waffle mixes imaginable. From the Manufacturer Review: Thank goodness for these! - I've been in a calorie deficit for the last 4 months so I've been looking for high-protein foods, that are satisfying and for variety. For breakfast, I typically eat some Greek yogurt with swerve sugar substitute and Kellogg's high protein Chocolate Almond cereal. It's a great combo but sometimes a cold breakfast just isn't satisfying or great in wintertime. I tried making protein pancakes at home from scratch, but they were terrible. So I did some googling and found this brand with most recommending it based on taste. Simply put, it's easy, quick and most of all tastes great. I just bought the six pack and I will continue to eat these even when I'm no longer dieting down. Review: My new favorite protein pancakes!! - I have been an avid kodiak pancake user and was looking for Kodak pancake mix sold by singles. Instead, this pancake mix popped up. I decided to give it a chance based on price and reviews. Wow was I not disappointed! These are sweeter than kodiak pancakes and make just as many. I had to drown my pancake in syrup with kodiak but with these, I was good with a little drizzle of honey. I love that they are high in protein per serving. I have been converted. Will be buying these again!! ## Features - 1 - 16 oz pouch of Birch Benders Pancake and Waffle Mix with Whey Protein - Packed with protein and calcium to help fuel your day - Supercharged with Whey Protein (15 grams protein per serving) - Preparation is a breeze: simply scoop the desired amount of mix into a bowl, add water, mix, and make - Our resealable closure keeps the mix fresh for next time; Kosher ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0179XFQ5E | | Age Range Description | 13+ | | Allergen Information | Eggs, Milk, Soy, Wheat | | Baking Mix Variety | Pancake & Waffle Baking Mix | | Best Sellers Rank | #207,148 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #504 in Pancake & Waffle Mixes | | Brand | Birch Benders | | Brand Name | Birch Benders | | Container Type | Bag | | Cuisine | Pancake and Waffle Mix | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,296 Reviews | | Diet Type | Kosher | | Flavor | Protein | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00856017003431 | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.55 kg | | Item Type Name | Pancake & Waffle Mix | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Birch Benders, LLC | | Model Number | 0856017003431 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Size Name | 16 Ounce | | Part Number | 0856017003431 | | Size | 16 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Kosher | | UPC | 786173827520 856017003431 731338879562 | | Unit Count | 16 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Birch Benders - **Flavor:** Protein - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Specialty:** Kosher - **Unit Count:** 16 Ounce ## Images ![Pancake and Waffle Mix with Whey, Protein, 16 Oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81XNWjzVQRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the WW freestyle points?** A: 1/2 cup is 5 points. I use it for making The Mudhuatler donuts and waffles. Check out his page The Mudhustler...he has great recipes with low WW points. **Q: Does this contain soy?** A: Unless these vary by flavor or variety, the packages I have, Performance Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix with Whey Protein, absolutely lists soy. At the very bottom of the Nutrient Facts label, it reads: "CONTAINS: WHEAT, EGG, MILK, SOY." The full ingredient list is: Unbleached What Flour, Whey Protein Concentrate (Whey Protein Concentrate, Lecithin), Evaporated Cane Juice, Vital Wheat Gluten, Leavening (Monocalcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Non-GMO Corn Startch), Eggs, Salt, Natural Flavors. **Q: Are these also Gluten free since they are Wheat free?** A: No **Q: How many calories in one serving and how much is one serving?** A: I can't remember, I haven't bought this item in awhile... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank goodness for these! *by C***T on January 4, 2024* I've been in a calorie deficit for the last 4 months so I've been looking for high-protein foods, that are satisfying and for variety. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes pretty good for protein... *by E***A on July 15, 2020* These are not going to have the same consistency and taste like regular pancakes so if that's what you're expecting you will be disappointed. To make them you just add water so it's really easy. I'm sure you could add milk or eggs for it to taste better but I ordered these for the macros so for me that's a no go. When cooking them you what to have your pan very hot and cook them for a short amount of time because if you cook them for long at a lower temperature they will be very hard and it will not be fun to eat them. Whenever I cook them fast at a higher temperature they come out a lot fluffier with better consistency. I think the process of cooking is very important. ## Frequently Bought Together - Birch Benders Pancake and Waffle Mix with Whey, Protein, 16 Oz - Organic Pancake and Waffle Mix, Classic Recipe by Birch Benders, Whole Grain, Non-GMO, Just Add Water, 16oz (Packaging may vary) - Birch Benders Griddle Cakes, Pancake Waffle Mix Keto, 10 Ounce --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/22111215-pancake-and-waffle-mix-with-whey-protein-16-oz](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/22111215-pancake-and-waffle-mix-with-whey-protein-16-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
