Review: Well designed, sturdy bed - First, the bed was delivered in great condition with packing that was very well designed to protect the wood. I have never bought furniture on-line before and was hesitant. But this turned out great. The assembly is not difficult and the directions are clear. There is a video to watch if you have doubts. The only issue was that two of the slats seemed to be a bit too long and we had to pull on the sides of the bed to get these two slats to fit. But it all came together very well and solid. Very pleased with the sturdiness of the bed and my guests that have slept on it, feel it is comfortable and does not make noise. The space beneath the slats is good for storage. I also like the color - called chocolate but it is more like a reddish brown but not as red as cherry and not as dark as most mahogany. It looks great. It is still very new and if it holds up, I will continue to highly recommend it. I wish they made a night stand in this "chocolate" acacia wood to go with the bed, one with 2 drawers and an open shelf.

First, the bed was delivered in great condition with packing that was very well designed to protect the wood. I have never bought furniture on-line before and was hesitant. But this turned out great. The assembly is not difficult and the directions are clear. There is a video to watch if you have doubts. The only issue was that two of the slats seemed to be a bit too long and we had to pull on the sides of the bed to get these two slats to fit. But it all came together very well and solid. Very pleased with the sturdiness of the bed and my guests that have slept on it, feel it is comfortable and does not make noise. The space beneath the slats is good for storage. I also like the color - called chocolate but it is more like a reddish brown but not as red as cherry and not as dark as most mahogany. It looks great. It is still very new and if it holds up, I will continue to highly recommend it. I wish they made a night stand in this "chocolate" acacia wood to go with the bed, one with 2 drawers and an open shelf.

I wish I could rate this higher. I had my eye on this for months but it was sold out and now I know why. The package came all in one piece (apologizes to the delivery guy that had to carry this 100 lbs box up three flights of stairs) with no damage. It was super easy to put together (would recommend a second person to save time). I love the rubber and Velcro on the bed slates, I've never seen that before and it keeps the mattress from sliding around. Definitely sturdy and well made (tested that asap). Also came with a candle?? I love everything about this from the tools that were included to the random wooden plaque. If you're debating the price, worth every penny!
