Cute but the sonic head piece needs help
So my son wanted to be sonic for Halloween and really wanted this costume. I’d read other reviews that said the hair part of the sonic costume did not stay vertical. That was kind of disappointing and we noticed that also when the costume came in my son tried it on. I decided to use an old trick of the trade for my cheerleading days when a bow would stay stiff. I doused the “hair” part of the head in hairspray and dried it upside down. I probably did this over the course of the week several times, and by Halloween the head hair part was staying perfectly upright. My recommendation is to try that method if you want to hair on sonic to stand up.

Loved it
My son loved this custom he wore it all day and all night. I got a medium he is 6 years old. The hat is a little small but everything else fit just right

True to size
My son loves it! He does not want to take it off. So cute!Cons, (not really that bad though)The spikes on the head do not stand straight up. And it will NOT last long. Definitely is cheaper material, but good for the price.True to size mostly. Legs are a little long, but child is shorter than average. So I would say it's close to spot on with sizes.

It's ok. Not great.
You get what you pay for. This is a cheap little costume. My son enjoyed it amd I guess that's all that matters. Very thin material.

Great!!
Based on previous reviews I ordered a size up. My son is 5 but is a little small for his age. I went with a medium and I’m glad I did. Fits great however the head piece was small even with the medium. I could still snap it in place but barely. The gloves are not the gloves in the picture, but my 5 year old didn’t notice. Overall I love how much joy he got out the costume, so my compliments didn’t bother me enough to return.
