However, the boots inside the box are green. Box label shows black/dark grey.** A: If you hate green you can always send them back. **Q: Are these waterproof or not? if you're going to say "no", did you try protective spray? reviews seem very mixed, so hoping someone can help? thanks** A: You should not need protective spray on a new pair of boots! These leaked on the first wear! I did use spray after that (NikWax) but they continued to let water on. Now the good bit, they are very comfortable out of the box and I still use them in dry weather without any problems but they are now showing signs of wear, more than I would have thought. **Q: Please advise cleaning instructions for Nortiv8 boots. Many thanks.** A: Grangers footwear cleaner or NikWax footwear cleaning gel. Don't use soap or washing powder as the boots will froth up when raining! **Q: my boots have split in two places on the right boot. How do I get a refund/replacement?** A: If your within your 180 days limit go to your orders and you’ll find the details of the vendor that you can get in contact with to resolve the issue if they agree to exchange you’ll have to return them and then get refunded and reorder them. But if their not complying you just need to get in touch with Amazon and they’ll take the issue on and help you to resolve it. I hope this helps you good luck 🤞 Manjit Harbias ## Frequently Bought Together - NORTIV 8 Men's Ankle High Waterproof Hiking Boots Outdoor Lightweight Shoes Trekking Trails Armadillo - NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Shoes Leather Low-Top Hiking Shoes for Outdoor Trailing Trekking Camping Walking Quest - NORTIV 8 Men's Low Top Waterproof Hiking Shoes Trekking Trails Outdoor Work Shoes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/228804127-nortiv-8-mens-waterproof-walking-boots](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/228804127-nortiv-8-mens-waterproof-walking-boots) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
