Review: Bringing life back to a battle worn controller! - Great replacement analog! Just so everybody knows the yellow Dualsense analog can be replaced with the blue Dualsense analog despite their different values (blue ones last longer). I suggest also getting the analog drift fix pcb v1.5 to go with this as it is easier to install and provides more accurate alignment than the micro resisters which are included 😊

- [EL3 for Switch Pro Controller] – 4x replacement analog joystick work with Nintendo Switch Pro and some PS3 controllers. The thumbstick module was made by ALPS. This RKJXV stick controller series comes with 10KΩ trimmer potentiometers
- [Compatibility] – This version of analog stick comes in dark gray bottom plate with two plastic sticks inserting in the PCB. It locks in 3 directions when not sit in controller cover. The trim pot resistors can be in green or black. It is widely used in Switch Pro controller. Some reported it is also used in 8Bitdo SNES controllers
- [Additional Resistor] – Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear finally caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem in hardware level. Solder one or two paralleled tiny resistors onto the potentiometer at the opposite direction against drifting. It will help correct 3 to 5 degrees drifting
- [When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan
- [Reminder of Operation] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. Professional repair with a heat gun is suggested. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the joystick problems

**Q: Are you sure these are alps modules? i think the orange and black modules are made by polyshine/favor union. you can tell by the "f" logo on the side.**
A: These are favor union modules. F logo followed by RSF. I ordered these prior to controller tear down.

**Q: Are the orange ones the same sensor wheel as the orange ds4 ones? i bought a pack of the blue sensor wheels only, but i need orange ones instead.**
A: Yes the orange ones are more sensitive the are the new gen, but you can use blue ones, just need to put both sensors you Can't use 1 blue 1 orange

**Q: What is the spring tension? Howany grams?**
A: Don't know the grams in specific, all i can say is they work and feel like the originals. I have been using them for more than 3 months

**Q: Can you substitute the blue joysticks for the orange?**
A: I am not sure, sorry. I thought I read somewhere on here that the pin location was different between the orange and blue? I replaced mine 3 months ago and I thought there was a reason why you should replace in kind but cannot remember.

Still got drift after installing one of these. Cursor drifts upwards, but if I tap the stick, it stops dead still, until I move the stick again. Might try removing, and installing another.
