The newly designed flat tape has increased tensile strength and electrical efficiency by using 6 strands of copper coated stainless steel and 13 strands of stainless steel in each conductor. The P7 Water Level Meter Probe has been developed to submerge up to 1000 ft. (300 m), making it surpass the 101 P6 Submersible Probe. Review: Great meter, great price. - These meters are my favorite depth-to-water level meters due to light weight, width of reel and reel balance and size of probes with point on the tip. This is an improvement from older models that had the indicator higher on the probe preventing an accurate depth-to-bottom reading. Get's 4 stars instead of 5: 1) wish it had 200' tape in 1/2" probe or smaller. 2) the hook to hang on the well monument isn't useful. Being a separate loose piece of molded plastic it wobbles around and falls off. Should be more like a Ubolt welded to the frame to allow firm hold with a knee when cleaning/reeling up the tape. We can sell both models.
