The other reason these are my go to is the fact that when stored they don't begin to bend or flex the cards in the pockets like Monster brand pocket binders.Ive heard some complain about the elastic tension band, but the only thing Ive noticed is that over time the band does have a tendency to crease the plastic shell- but there has never been any damage to the cards inside.As far as protection goes these offer reasonable protection at a great price. I have no problems throwing a designated trade binder in a backpack.
