I didn’t love the white glass cause from pictures the ink reflected off the glass and it looked like a shadow. I wasn’t sure about the black because I hate having to deal with liquid chalk due to prepping them every time before use.Despite that I still preferred black so it can blend in with my all black office. Also, no shadows or reflections. I was excited for the pop of neon, however sad to say I was disappointed with the Quartet white chalk marker it came with. It didn’t perform as it should and it made me really frustrated. Perhaps I got a bad apple. However, to remedy that I researched glass markers on Amazon and came across these non chalk Expo neon and it works like a charm. So no prepping involved and wipes off clean easily thanks to the glass.Overall the product is truly beautiful. It looks sophisticated and modern. I am very happy with my purchase and truly recommend. Since it's glass, it's easy to clean and don't have to worry about using the wrong type of dry erase or leave it for too long and will leave a permanent mark.However, you MUST use markers (paint type) in order for the writings to show on this black glass. I bought a set of Quartet dry erase markers that I thought was 'bright enough', but they were completely absorb by the darkness of the glass.
