Review: Perfect bed for hot weather! - We have 2, 100lb labs and have used these since our pups had a trainer 6 yrs ago. They also have stuffed floor beds that they sleep on during the night. However, during the day they always lay on these, perhaps because we live in 100+ degree weather? I usually order a new replacement cover every 1 1/2 yrs. The cover it’s self is in perfect condition, but when the pups come in from the pool & dry off, they’ll start scratching and rubbing on the cover, eventually creating small holes which after continued use, get larger. The covers are easy to spray off & dry quickly. This is our 4th time buying. Can’t go wrong; durable, sturdy, easy to move room to room & most of all our dogs love them! Review: Fit my frames as well as the original - These little covers don't last forever. I thought I would outsmart the originals by making my own covers from sun-resistant canvas and other outdoor fabrics. It was very expensive and took a lot of time to make these covers, and after a season in the sun, the fabric had faded and weakened enough for my dog's foot to go through the middle of the cover. This new cover fits my frame perfectly, it looks nice and I think it will actually last longer than my homemade version. ## Features - Breathable, cooling fabric allows air to escape, keeping pet cool and comfortable - Durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fabric eliminates hot spots - Easily washable with mild detergent, just hose off with water and air dry - Tool-free cover removal for easy cleaning or color changes ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0018C97FS | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,112 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #4 in Dog Bed Covers | | Brand | Coolaroo | | Brand Name | Coolaroo | | Breed Recommendation | Large Breeds | | Color | Brunswick Green | | Cover Material | knitted polyethylene fabric | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 11,915 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Large | | Fill Material | Polyethylene | | Frame Material | Alloy Steel | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00799870317713 | | Included Components | No Additional Tools Required | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 43.5"L x 31.5"W x 0.5"Th | | Item Form | Rectangular | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | Pet Bed Replacement Cover | | Item Weight | 4.16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Gale Pacific, USA | | Manufacturer Part Number | 317713 | | Material | fabric | | Material Type | fabric | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 45 kg | | Model Number | 317713 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Breathable, Cooling, Elevated, Washable | | Pattern | Solid | | Pet Type | Dog | | Product Benefits | Breathable | | Product Care Instructions | Easily washable with mild detergent, just hose off with water and air dry | | Product Dimensions | 43.5"L x 31.5"W x 0.5"Th | | Recommended Uses For Product | For providing a comfortable and cool sleeping surface for pets | | Size | Large | | Special Feature | Breathable, Cooling, Elevated, Washable | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 799870317713 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 5 year fabric warranty | | Warranty Type | Limited Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Coolaroo - **Breed Recommendation:** Large Breeds - **Material:** fabric - **Product Dimensions:** 43.5"L x 31.5"W x 0.5"Th - **Special Feature:** Breathable, Cooling, Elevated, Washable ## Images ![Original Pet Bed Replacement Cover - Brunswick Green - Large (43.5" x 31.5") - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RzvkIiKBL.jpg) ![Original Pet Bed Replacement Cover - Brunswick Green - Large (43.5" x 31.5") - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71oGdfUeRaL.jpg) ![Original Pet Bed Replacement Cover - Brunswick Green - Large (43.5" x 31.5") - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71bD3mUuTiL.jpg) ![Original Pet Bed Replacement Cover - Brunswick Green - Large (43.5" x 31.5") - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Zhwlb0tsL.jpg) ![Original Pet Bed Replacement Cover - Brunswick Green - Large (43.5" x 31.5") - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+3mBmf3vL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the largest diameter rod that will slide through the sleeve? i'm planning to make a frame from pvc.** A: I made a pvc bed I use 1 1/4" it fit exactly, if you choose a Bigger size it Will not fit through the sleeve! **Q: My coolaroo bed measures 43x31 from the outside bar to outside bar...will this replacement fit that?** A: Just put this on my frame and had to measure for it, fits perfectly! **Q: Does this cover for the amazon basics elevated cooling pet bed large? They are out of stock** A: I found that the Amazon basics elevated cooling pet bed covers are smaller than the coolaroo covers. I did have to send my last one back because it did not fit the Coolaroo frame. **Q: Confused about the dimensions (what is the real actual size of the LARGE bed cover)... Amazon lists two different sizes on this page?!?** A: it's easier to understand if you use manufacturer's names for the 2 pieces that make the cot.the fabric is 43 '' by 31.5 '' and the frame is 51'' by 31.5 '' + or - .5''the rods of the frame individually slide through the fabric. the rods are screwed together making a rectangle cot that is supported by legs lifting it about 7 '' above the ground.i have three robust scotties who instinctively stretch and rub themselves on the mesh fabric daily. i keep the cot outside. after several years in high humidity and intense sun,the frame remains rust free. the color stayed vivid. there are no snags, pulls or loose threads. the center of the fabric is thinning and i don't want to risk the dogs' collar, tags or nailsgetting caught perhaps causing an accident. this is one of the dogs favorite items used in their daily routine. built to last another year or so . but the replacement cover is so modestly priced,i didn't hesitate getting the new cover for this much used and enjoyed favorite... i don't know how the dogs instinctively know this is for their enjoyment. they refrain from rolling in the dirt. they use it for munching on a snack or bone, pruning themselves, and rubbing their coats after bath. they stay cleaner and bug free.there are so many different measurements expressed here, i was wondering if our rulers were written in chinese also ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect bed for hot weather! *by D***F on September 1, 2026* We have 2, 100lb labs and have used these since our pups had a trainer 6 yrs ago. I thought I would outsmart the originals by making my own covers from sun-resistant canvas and other outdoor fabrics. My dogs lay on these no matter where they are! One of my dogs chew so the corners on all these have been chewed. My other dog digs. It's as if she's 'fluffing' the bed or something. So on one of the beds I have small holes where she's done this and on another bed it's grown to a large hole the size of her head. Grant you, she can still lay on the bed but I worry her leg might get caught or something so I've purchased one replacement cover. Having said all of that these beds **DO** last. I've periodically tightened the screws on them (so lock-tight would be great!) and there's a little rust on the ones I have outside but over all for the money I'm more than happy! These are nice sized (I have the large one) and I've had them all for close to a year. So if I only have to replace 1 cover a year.. even if I end up doing it on all of the beds (which I haven't so far) then I'm still getting great value! My dogs LOVE their beds! They give their joints a nice, soft place to lay. Outside these beds keep them cooler in the summer, off the cold ground in the winter, and dry (because the mesh allows water to flow through). I'm very happy with these! If there were one thing I'd like to see different it's the octaginal style corner. I would be better if there were no hole in the corner so my dog didn't have anything to grab and chew on. And I'd like the legs to go flat down rather than come out and curve down - for more of a space savings. But I still love these! They are a LOT less expensive than the others I've looked at. Oh and I would LOVE to be able to buy these in more color choices!!!!!!!!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Coolaroo Pet Bed Cover, Cooling, Washable, Indoor or Outdoor Dog Bed or Cat Bed, Large (L) (LG), Brusnwick Green - SoftTouch 4440695N Rubber Leg Tip (4 Piece), 1", Black - Coolaroo The Original Elevated Pet Bed, Medium, Brunswick Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/2414680-original-pet-bed-replacement-cover-brunswick-green-large-43-5](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/2414680-original-pet-bed-replacement-cover-brunswick-green-large-43-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
