Mosiso Hard Case for MacBook Pro 13 Inch with Retina Display, Light Gold

I absolutely L O V E this case. The cover is a beautiful color. I purchased it in Rose Gold, and it's basically an exact match to my rose gold iPhone. I've had no issues with it so far, and I love that it keeps my laptop protected, without being bulky or ugly.The apple symbol is not visible through the case while the computer is closed, but you are able to see it when it's open. The only downside to that is that the apple symbol looks grainy through the case. I've attached a picture for reference.The case itself is very opaque, which makes it unique! It looks like I spent a lot more money for it than I did, which is always a plus!It fits my 13 inch 2015 MacBook Pro perfectly, and vents very well so my computer never overheats or gets too hot to hold on my lap. The little rubber tabs on the bottom are even, so I never have a problem with my laptop wobbling around either. This was a great purchase! Hopefully it holds up over time.

I wanted to love this cover, but it falls short in one very important area - covering and protecting the full laptop. I was completely disappointed to find the bottom cover does NOT cover the back bottom of the unit, and does not protect the back bottom two corners of the laptop, as the apple product does. It snaps on and fits the laptop perfectly, but that doesn't override the potential for damaging the back two corners if they are bumped. Also, the unit is not as transparent as they let on, I had the Speck more expensive cover, and it very clearly showed anything you placed under the top - I liked having my business card showing. This cover barely shows the Apple logo if the unit is on, and you cannot otherwise see the Apple logo, when it is closed. The color is nice, the material is nice, the fit is very good, but I won't buy this cover again even though it is cheaper, unless they redesign it to cover the full laptop.11/24/16 update: after only a few months, all the corners have cracked with normal use, and the sides broke off. Although it seemed halfway decent at first, it turned quickly into a piece of junk, such a waste of money this was!

This is a great case for the price! I bought the rose gold Macbook Pro 13 Retina Case (with no CD ROM) almost 2 months ago and am very satisfied with my purchase, especially at such a great, affordable price.The product performs exactly as advertised in the description. It's very important to make sure you check the product numbers so you order the right case for a snug fit. I followed the installation instructions that came with the product and found the case very easy to snap on and off. I appreciate having the little feet on the bottom for non-slippage. The case is very light-weight, easy to grip, and doesn't block any of the side ports nor interfere with functionality. I bought the case mainly to prevent scratches and smudges and to have an extra layer of protection when transporting the laptop, and this case does exactly that.

It's a very cute color (the light pink one called "Rose Gold") that shimmers in the sunlight - but it's not as convenient as the laptop cases I'm used to. I used to have a matte case that had a hard rubber texture, but it cracked over time and I decided to go with this one as my new case. The issue with this case is that it's very slippery. I didn't think it would be so slippery because it doesn't look super glossy - but this case slides my laptop everywhere. It gets annoying very quickly. If it's on any surface besides a desk - it will slip off. It has slipped off my lap, my bed, the couch, etc. I have to keep worrying and making sure that I'm holding the laptop down somehow to avoid it from breaking.It's not that the laptop case isn't useful, but it's just that there are more useful laptop cases out there that won't slip around. If you don't plan on taking your laptop with you anywhere while commuting and plan on using it only on hard surfaces (desks, tables, maybe even a floor) then you should be fine. If you're like me and like to use your laptop by laying it on your stomach or lap - then this case may not be the best recommendation for you.

UPDATE: Bottom of case (not dropped or damage) has started cracking off in chunks. I haven't even had the case a month. WASTE OF MONEY. I'm so frustrated that I have to buy another case! This time I'll spend some real money and buy a real case, not something there to look "cute."PREVIOUS RATING:Biggest complaint is it's really uncomfortable to type. The edges of the case are sharp. The edge sticks out over the bottom, so when I'm typing my arms are being rubbed raw. I rest my arms on that part of my laptop, which I'm pretty sure other people do too. It's weird, I've never had this issue with a case before. I'm hoping to find a work-around for this, maybe sand down that edge or something (LEARNED TO DEAL WITH THIS). I don't want to buy a new case and I'm sure it'll cost like $8-10 to return. But, it's bothersome enough that I actually came online just to review this and have now taken the case off.Otherwise, it fits the rest of the laptop well and I like the pink color. I just hope I can find a solution for the rubbing.

Several months after my first review, the company sent me a replacement case without my ever asking them, and with no strings attached. They never even hinted at me updating my review. I am so incredibly impressed with their customer service. But putting that aside, I am even more impressed at the high quality of this new case. I can tell that they changed the process by which they paint the case with the is gold rose gold color. The same activities that previously were off the paint on my first case now barely even leave the slightest little scratches that you have to really look for. It is very durable and I highly recommend it! Previous review:It was pretty for a couple months but it very soon got all scratched up and the lovely pink color is wearing off in many spots. I have to replace it because it now looks unprofessional. What a shame.

Tenía muchas dudas acerca de comprar o no esta cover para mi Macbook Pro 13 Retina debido a los comentarios que leí por aquí.Pero he de decir que yo estoy contenta. Elegí la Oro Rosé, cruzando los dedos porque el color fuera tal y como se veía en la foto. Y sí, el color es igual, es muy bonito. La cover se ajusta perfectamente. El material no se ensucia, no se quedan las huellas. No hay ningún tipo de logo o marca en ninguna parte. El ordenador no se recalienta. Ah, y el logo de Apple se ilumina a través del plástico.Evidentemente no es la calidad de una cover de Apple, pero para los 17 euros que vale, está muy bien.
