iBCam iB810 SMART Wifi Baby Monitor and Nanny Cam for iOS and Android (Black)

I tried for weeks to get these cameras to work. They never connected. I plugged a dropcam in and it worked immediately. Very disapointed in this little camera.

The App and camera work well, but the sound and volume is very poor. With my phone turned up all the way and the baby crying I really had to try to hear anything. My wife and I did several tests and found that no matter what phone or volume we had it on we could barely hear what the monitor was picking up for sound. Oh well, was worth a try

I like this camera a lot. Although, it has the worst app I have seeing. If it only had a better app...

Purchased the IBcam because it was inexpensive. You get what you pay for! I figured that it would be impossible to screw up a wifi camera in 2014. I was wrong. At first glance the hardware isn’t awful, feels a little cheap, but comes in a nice box. The camera part falls out without much force, and the power cord is too short for 99% of applications. The WPS wifi setup is pretty easy, but the instructions are awful which turned it into a project. There website is terrible, and has no software downloads. The only way to get the software is via a CD that comes with the product (for a laptop). For a cellular device the apps are available on apple/android stores. (All 3 of my laptops were purchased in the last 5 years and don’t have CD drives, as they are about as useful as an 8-track these days). Once the camera is setup and connected to your wifi the camera only shows up as connected once every 5 times you look for it. The signal is so poor that it you do get connected the image and sound drops out frequently. I would recommend not making the same mistake I did. Spend a little more and get a good one. This thing is a constant head ache, and I will be in the trash shortly.
