A: Its not strong enough. You would have to use a ton of it every day to stop the bacteria in a normal household septic. It only slightly changes the ph. Not enough to make a difference.

I was impressed with how well this cleaner worked. It removed stubborn hard water stains and mineral buildup with very little scrubbing.
