Timeless and beautiful story!

I loved the story! A good example of how busyness and try to work to earn God’s favor never works. It’s just our willingness to give Him our hearts.

Love this way of illustrating the love of God. I heard Jonathan Helser speak a message from this book and I just fell in love with the story. I plan to use this story line to illustrate teaching as well.

Really enjoy Max Lucado’s books. He has a wonderful way of presenting the way God loves us.

Every home should have this book. It isn't the outside talents that makes you special, it is who you are on the inside and your love/service to others.

A wonderful parallel to our adoption by God! We don't have to *DO* anything to receive it, just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, the orphans who tried to work for the king's approval missed him. Beautiful illustrations too!

A great moral to the story. My child loves it. The illustrations are beautiful. Would be a great gift for someone.
