The cookie press parts are nicely fit into a foam shape in the box so it is easy to return the press to the box for storage. It came with a very nice instruction book that has several different languages, has wonderful illustrations, and great recipes for what I would consider European style biscuits - which are not as sweet or soft as the cookies I am used to in Canada (however - they are still delicious and pair very well with coffee or tea). However, any other pressed cookie/spritz cookie recipe works beautifully with this press! I have made dozens of cookies now using both old and new recipes and its easy to use and swapping the plates for the types is very easy. The cookies can be made into two thicknesses (I made pink wreaths to go with the pink hearts I made on valentines and you can see the difference in thickness between the two settings). My 3yo's help as well with putting dough into the press and helping me pull down the lever to make the cookie on the baking sheet. It makes them helping me in the kitchen a lot less messy and more fun for everyone. They love to press cookies and then add sprinkles!
