I heard you need 10g of BCAA before workout. One serving only has 1g...** A: 2.5 grams of leucine is the proven amount needed to trigger protein synthesis. That's 5g total or 10 pills. I'm not sure why the doses on these are so small but I figure if an 80 pound asian girl needs 2.5g of leucine then going with more BCAAs would probably serve you better. That's an insane amount of pills but this is to avoid using the powder that stinks and tastes awful.
