Great Quilt Blocks, Beautiful Pictures, Confusing Organization Of Content/Diagrams/Photos
I saw the Missouri Star tutorial for the Five & Dime quilt top. That piqued my interest so I bought the book & KT ruler. The pictures of the quilt tops made with the Kansas Troubles fabrics line by Moda are gorgeous. I would give the photographs in the book an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.For me the organization of the book was hard to follow. It starts out with;Page 5 Table of Contents,Pages 6 & 7 KT Quilting Basics,Page 8 How to Use the KT RulerThen immediately jumps to the directions entitled Five & Dime with a diagram (black & white) of the finished quilt on page 12. It’s not until page 15 that the finished quilt top is depicted. The very next page is a picture of the finished quilt for the next project, followed on page 17 with the directions for Lady Liberty (same quilt top layout as Five & Dime). And, page 19 jumps to Coin Toss with no diagram or picture of a finished quilt top. Page 25 shows some very nice finished projects but they are not labeled just a list at the top of the page of what is depicted...not sure which name goes with each item displayed. I would like to see a finished quilt top with each project as you progress through the book. Numbering each project in the Table of Contents and throughout the book might help. The directions in the MSQ tutorial seemed easy to follow, the book not as user friendly. And, for me, some of the letters in the chosen font are hard to read as the letters seem to run together, especially when all caps are used.Love the book ideas...just hope Jenny Doan does a tutorial on the KT quilt pattern I choose for my next KT project.

It’s perfect.

good product
The book is great, but I was hoping it would have colored instructions instead of black and white. I seem to visualize the pattern better with colored illustrations.

Just be aware you need the rulers to go with the patterns in the book.
This book is great. I have the Spare Change Ruler as well as the Five & Dime Ruler. This book give many ways to use the rulers. I'm so happy to have so many options to use the Rulers.

Wonderful book, great patterns
Nothing to dislike about this book. A very simple pattern translated into dozens of really terrific terrific quilts.

Loose Change Book
I think that this book is hard for me to follow. I think that it cost too much and I would love to give it five stars but if I hadn't seen the video on you tube I would still not understand this book. I give the video a 5 and the book a 4. I give it a four because it has a lot of idea's and and since I watched the video, it is a good idea. For the price of this book, I would expect to get the rulers with it. Yes, that would be a good idea to sell this book. Give the rulers with it.
