Amazonhappy....The Swiss do an excellent job in designing for utility. Unless you have extremely large hands (basketball player?), you will probably find these pruners comfortable for even an extended session of pruning in your garden. I have just compared the handles on my Felco F-6 Classic pruners and my Felco F-2 Classic Pruners...and the handles are the same. The only difference is in the weight of the pruner itself. The F-6 is for lighter pruning, roses, vines, shaping shrubs whereas the F-2 is for larger canes and branches before getting to required "lopper" dimensions. Since I respect my pruners...if I get to a cane or branch too large, I use the F-2 pruner and when I get to the "lopper" sized branch...I stop and get one of my loppers...and I've benefited from that habit, as my pruners continue to serve me well after all these years. Since then I still use them regularly in my home landscape. The blades will develop a little light rust if not used regularly, but, cleans off easily and they're also pretty easy to sharpen. I just replaced the blades and spring this past spring for the first time. As far as I'm concerned, you'll never find a better pruner; unless of course, you hire someone else to do it for you! **Q: The product description says that these are adjustable. How so?--I have very small hands, if they open too wide, my hands will be sore.** A: Felco makes different size versions of these pruners so you can find o e that will fit y ou ur hands. I recommend going to a garden center and holding them in person so you know which model number works best for you. **Q: Compare the size of F-2 and F-6?** A: I have small hands and I own both and use both.
