Kind Regards, The Barney Butter Team” I guess by now I should expect that nothing good will survive 2026. So this review is more of a eulogy for a dead product. I probably shouldn’t waste my time on it, but some irrational part of me hopes barney (or one of their competitors), will bring it back. One of my favorite breakfasts was oatmeal with a cinnamon almond butter drizzle (reconstituted with water and mct oil). Because the almond butter had a neutral flavor and wasn’t pre-sweetened, I could get the perfect balance of sweet, creamy texture and spice. It also worked very well in smoothies, creamy style salad dressings, and low fat pesto. The pesto, in particular, will be missed. I haven’t been able to find any alternatives. Because of a health condition, I can’t tolerate the fat levels in normal almond butter. The only defatted/powdered alternative is PB2, but it has a completely different flavor profile. It’s very strong, like they were trying to make a fake peanut butter instead of making something that tastes like almonds. I bought it once, and it was so vile I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. If anyone does read this, it might be worth using the contact form on their website to ask them to bring it back.
