Review: Fits Shure KSM27, SM27 wonderfully. - I decided to take a chance on this shock mount for $19.95 at the time of purchase to use with my recently acquired used Shure KSM27. Fits perfectly despite seeing claims from numerous people on forums that only Shure's overpriced $60-80 mounts will work due to the tapered body of the microphone. A seller on Reverb who also has a site for their own brick & mortar store sells these same shock mounts with an inflated $50 price tag listed for numerous microphones from many manufacturers including the KSM27 / SM27. This seller just alters the model number of the mount slightly in each of their listings. Totally recommended if you need a basic shock mount.

This is a great deal for a good shock mount. I have two MXL V-250's and bought one of these to see if it works. It's fits perfectly, and it's silver like the microphone. I'll be ordering another one.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy, well built shockmount.

This shockmount is very well built and it also matches the color of most MXL mics so it looks great. It is NOT the right size for the MXL 990 which I bought it for (my fault for not checking size) however it is still possible to make it fit, it's just not as easy to move around in it because the 990 is fatter than most MXLs.
