I don’t play those, however, had a friend that played one and he preferred flat wound. **Q: Silly question but how do these look compared to other steel bass strings? Shiny chrome like nickel or greyish like most others?** A: They are not nickle wound so they are not chrome looking. They look very similar to a set of Rotosounds. They feel & sound similar to them too.
