I would just get an 8.5 ruler. The markings on this ruler aren’t really to use for anything but flying geese, but it is wonderful for flying geese. I made a whole quilt with flying geese. All the Deb Heatherly rulers are phenomenal! **Q: Does this ruler use the "make 4 at once" method?** A: Yes it does. It’s a wonderful tool. **Q: How to use ruler** A: CreativeGrids.com has pretty good videos how to use the rulers. **Q: What if you want to make a size that isn’t listed on the ruler?** A: The ruler is designed to make only finished block sizes listed on the ruler. They do make other rulers for Flying Geese. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful tool, must have to get perfect flying geese *by G***E on 18 June 2026* I finally have perfect flying geese cuts, I also use it for floppy corners pieces.
