Stand on surface is approx. 8 1/2 "D x 11 1/4"L. Opened height approx. 10 1/2". When closed for storage, including handle, approx.15 1/2" H x 13"W

Does this stool lock in place?

There is no “locking” mechanism but due to the design it will not unfold

Anyone else feel this product seems flimsy? Just bought it & debating whether to keep it, even though I like the light feel of it.

I agree, it did seem a little flimsy....but, I did keep it and use it all of the time. I use it in the kitchen to reach my top shelf and it slides between the fridge and the wall so it is handy. I am not a small person but way shy of the 300 lb max and have not had any trouble with it.
