Great for a breastfeeding mom that lost too much weight
I went through a major life change when my baby was about 5 months and I rapidly lost 16 lbs over a few weeks. I noticed my baby getting increasingly frustrated with my dwindling milk supply! I had to act fast. I ordered this one because I have to be dairy and soy free due to MSPI. Within 5 days of having 1 of these a day mixed with the extra creamy almond milk, I stopped dropping weight and my milk supply is getting my babe through day and night. It’s really not a bad taste either, I personally like it as long as it’s fully blended. It’s gritty or anything. You just really have to blend it fully so you don’t have chunks, I would definitely recommend a blender over a shaker bottle. Overall 5/5 from me!!

So far it works!!
Like other reviews have said ,it is gritty and the flavor could be better, but it is bearable. Mixed fine with just water. Use a clear container so you don’t miss any clumps. It is expensive but for what you are getting Its worth it. I drink 2 scoops a day, morning and night. Has increased and/or at least maintained my milk supply. I love that it’s organic/vegan. Oh and yes when you open it, it does look half empty but only because it settles to the bottom after being packaged. I counted my scoops and you do get the servings they state are in there, 20 I think. I would like to try the vanilla chai but it’s not on amazon yet. I have only tried the chocolate flavor, haven’t tried the Carmel only bc its more expensive and I can barely afford the almost $50. My suggestion is try it at least once you may like it, I’m glad I did and didn’t let the negative reviews sway me. I am allergic to dairy so the other protein mix out there with whey in it isnt an option, plus they have way too much sugar. For whoever needs to hear this don’t give up if it’s getting hard for you to continue breastfeeding or your supply is decreasing, keep trying if you can, your baby will benefit from it beyond measure. I know it’s a sacrifice wether you are a stay at home mom or working mom pumping at work. God bless you for trying to give your baby the best start and not giving up when it gets hard. I know it’s easier to stop breastfeeding but it’s soooooo good for your baby. It’s only for a short time moms, we can do this. Our babies are worth it!

Good for maintaining milk supply. Bad taste and texture.
Boobie Body protein shakes have been good for maintaining my milk supply. I drink one everyday.I normally get the Chocolate Bliss flavor, but Amazon ran out and ordering it from their site would take too long so I ordered the Vanilla Chai to try. I still ordered the Chocolate Bliss flavor on their site because it’s my favorite. When I read the review for this flavor I thought everyone was exaggerating about the grainy texture, but they aren’t. Compared to the Chocolate bliss, Ancient Nutrition bone broth protein powder, and Amazing Grass plant protein- the Boobie Body Vanilla Chai protein powder is very grainy. The flavor of chai is very mild, but the after taste of the cinnamon additive is strong. I’m not sure if it’s artificial flavoring in their compound, but it tastes like a big red or hot tamale candy lingering in my mouth. To make it digestible, since I’m stuck with this tub now, I add: banana, frozen fruit, and chia seeds. I normally add a banana and chia seeds anyways but the added frozen fruit chunks help mask the texture even more.I won’t be buying this flavor again, and am hesitant to try anything other than the chocolate bliss.I highly recommend this brand, but not this flavor.

Very good
Got the chocolate flavor and really enjoyed it. I did the recipe 8oz of milk( I did whole milk), 1 scoop, and 1 banana and blended it and it was really good! Not gritty or chalky, no weird after taste. Tasted just like chocolate. The whole milk made it very thick and creamy, so if you don't like super thick milkshakes, I'd suggest using almond milk. All in all I'm very happy with the taste! Will see how it helps with milk supply, but i mainly bought to get extra protein and nutrients in my diet

Expensive dirt.
I personally hated it I got the coffee Carmel flavor and it taste like dirt no coffee flavor at all. It’s got a super gritty texture and it settles oddly even when blended. I feel like this will only work well in baking or solid foods not as a drink. It’s also expensive and difficult to make. I love the ingredients and the cleanliness of the manufacturing but the flavor has got to be worked on. I also wish there was more protein like 25gs but I just add collagen and it ups it.

Taste is bland and hard to mix also needs drank fast as it settles after sitting
Got this after doing some research for milk supply boost and just a meal alternative as a mom of two it’s sometimes hard to get a meal in.Not a big fan of chocolate but the reviews for it over the cookie one took my vote. It definitely tastes different, don’t want to say chalky or gritty but you can tell it’s a protein drink. I used almond milk to mix with and to use a whole scoop with just 6-8oz of your liquid of choice….I had to use more milk to make it thinner and tolerable honestly. It didn’t mix well and I mixed it for a long time with a frother and had to use a spoon to get what was stuck to the bottom off. Need to drink it fast or have a spoon in it to keep mixing as it settles. Not sure if I will use it in a smoothie as it’s chocolate or what else to put in it to make it better but I’m gonna use it as I paid good money for it. Will probably drink it every few days as it’s just not something I crave but a semi easy thing to make. To each their own and everyone has a different palate but it was not for me.

Good, not great
The only thing I really love about this product is its nutritional value. As a breastfeeding mom, it’s important for me to consume as many nutrients as possible to maintain a good and healthy milk supply. But other than that, the taste is just ok. It’s really gritty even when really well blended, and if you don’t drink it fairly quickly, most of it “settles” at the bottom, resulting in this gross gritty, pasty goop. The taste itself isn’t amazing. It tastes like chocolate, with a gritty texture. It’s not very pleasant. I’ll finish my canister because this product is expensive and the nutrition it offers is great, but I won’t be buying again due to the taste. I want to be able to enjoy what I put into my body.
