Very happy with mine. **Q: For how long can it retain the cooling?** A: Depends on too many factors. Amount for ice, type of ice, cooler placement, Exterior temperature, ambient air circulation... Enough? **Q: How tall is it** A: I think it is about 18 inches tall. I'm at work, so I didn't actually measure it, but is a great size. We just took it to Disney World to keep soda and bottles of water in and it worked out nicely.
