It was so wonderful to get back into the world of Q and Tess! I've missed them so much! We are 3 years into their marriage now and we get to see what they've been doing during that time. It was heartwarming to see the work that Q and Tess continue to do, and what new charities and organizations they are now also funding and helping.I was so very impressed with the way Pepper navigates us through an internal struggle that Q is facing. His life with Tess is perfect but there is something that he's been battling, something he wants that he never thought he could have and never even realized he wanted until recently. Delving into the intricate thoughts and emotions running through Q's head pulled me so completely into the story. I felt his pain and fears, his passion and desires, even his disgust with himself.We also get deep into Tess's head and the struggle she faces to find out what Q is hiding from her, and how to deal with it once she finds out what it is. The emotional range she experiences felt so very real to me and this is the thing I love about Pepper the most, she knows how to write the most complex of scenes and make you feel like you are standing right in the room with the characters.It was wonderful to see the secondary characters still protecting and taking care of Q and Tess. I was happy to see how Suzette has been faring and what has been happening with her and Franco. Q's loyal business partner and best friend Frederick and his wife Angelique also provided for some entertainment with how Frederick riles up Q all the time.It is so sad to see the end of Tess and Q's story but we are left in a very, very happy place. And Pepper has already hinted to us that this won't be the end of Q, as he will be making appearances in her upcoming super secret series! Yay!Incredible story, Pepper! Loved every word!

In this much anticipated followup to the most notoriously hot series, Pepper Winters delivered something wicked, delicious, and delightful. The love and scorching heat that burned up my kindle while reading this story was incredible."She wasn't a princess. F*** no, Tess was my queen. My sinning, cursing, f***ing twisted queen."I devoured every drop as if it might be my last, making sure to read slowly and savor every morsel."We were on a never-ending tug of war where we each took turns to win. But there was no losing. We had far too much happiness to ever lose."I loved how this story is several years after the last book and how they've settled into a life that could only be normal for Tess and Q. But with every married couple, no matter what kind of sex life you have, you're still going to have insecurities and issues."He'd love the bruises he inflicted while he wanted to bleed himself dry for causing them."It was refreshing to see them suffer internal struggles versus attacks from the outside. To me, it showed how they were both vulnerable and strong. We were really able to see all of their inner workings and how their love could overcome any obstacle."You'll never break me.""Ah, my sweet, sweet Tess. That might be the case..." But it won't stop me from trying.This book had all the feels and I enjoyed every single page from beginning to end. My smile was huge and my heart was full when I finally read the words: The End.Thank you, Pepper, for once again showing us you are the master of the twisted, dark, and decadent. Well done, my dear!

Q and his esclave, Tess have always had a permanent place in my heart as their story totally captured my imagination as well as my heart. Two broken souls brought together in harrowing circumstances yet both finding something that they never thought possible, love.“She was more than my world. She was more than my lover, best friend and partner. She was the blood in my heart, the breath in my lungs, the effing marrow in my bones. Without her, I wouldn’t exist. Without her, my body would be nothingness: no heartbeats, no mind, no man…no animal.”Je Suis a Toi is the icing on the cake for us Q and Tess fans, we left them with their happy ever after, but I often wondered how they got on further down the road. Je Suis a Toi, gives us that insight and it was very much welcomed.It is Q’s birthday and Tess is planning a surprise getaway. Q has been distant and Tess is very much aware he is hiding something from her, which Q never does. Their relationship thrives on honesty and being totally open with one and other so Tess knows that whatever is bothering him is serious. In the first instance she is hurt, but she knows that when he is ready he will tell her, albeit she may drive herself insane first.“Don’t ever doubt me, Tess. Never doubt us.”With this couple though, if anything is certain it is that nothing will come between them, not errant thoughts nor insecurities, not changes in wants or needs not even Q’s inane beliefs that his darkness with consume Tess. These two thrive on their darkness, it is their darkness that makes them…them. It is their darkness that embraces them as husband and wife and a darkness they both need down to the marrow in their bones.“She made me so effing happy. But also made me hate myself.”This story beautifully wraps up Q and Tess’s story. I loved catching up with these two and this story just solidified the love that I have for them as a couple. Pepper Winters always delivers that emotion and that character connection that I crave and everything that these two go through I felt. It is testament to life that marriages have little speed bumps, these two hit a little one but these two have a soul deep bond and one that is indestructible. I loved it and I adore this couple.

𝑱𝒆 𝑺𝒖𝒊𝒔 à 𝑻𝒐𝒊(Monsters in the Dark 4)Author: Pepper Winters⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This book. This one hit home for me because my husband and I went through the same thing early on in our marriage. We have come to accept what it meant for us and are completely happy now, but I really understood Q and Tess.I LOVED a "One Directive Driven" Q in this story! 🥵🔥🫠However, he does do something in this book that made me 😲😳 and hear me now Q, if you had dome that to me, we would have some serious issues to work through! I don't want to ruin it, but for me, it would have been a huge trust breaker. I'm sure with a strong foundation, it could be worked through, but man.... would he have been in the dog house!This was a fabulous ending to the MitD series and I'm so glad that after everything they went through, Tess and Q get their happily ever after.BUT PEPPER - please don't Sarah J Maas us with Suzette and Franco, (a la "What Lorcan did!) I NEEEEED a novella on those two because I KNOW that boi would be a freak in the sheets!!! So, could you please give us some insight to what a relationship with a stacked, one thumbed body guard would be like? You know, for science of course. 😅📖📖📖

Wow! What a series, I couldn’t put it down, what a writer n if you like dark spicy books this is for you n I’ve read some dark books - haunting Adeline series n suck fux but they have nothing on this series.I’m just about to read the Mercer curse n then jewelry box seriesThe story continues with Q n T oh I can’t wait

So glad Pepper Winter's gave us the ending to a horribly beautiful trilogy.Je Suis a Toi is everything I was hoping for, although, I was a little worried there for a minute!Sorry this 4 part series has come to end, but so glad I had the pleasure of reading this masterpiece.Pepper Winter's can do no wrong, I thought I had read dark, but this series took me to a whole new level of darkness that will be hard to find again. If you can handle darker than dark (I thirst for it) then you will absolutely love the Monsters in the Dark trilogy with this book being a large epilogue in sorts.Pepper Winter's has flown to the top of my favorite authors and I will be reading each and every other piece of work she has written.5 stars is an injustice for this marvelous monster! Q and Tess will be forever in my heart and soul, bravo!

Excellent..A fitting end to this brilliant story..disappointed that again there is no audio version..why is this !..looking forward to reading more from Pepper in the future..you really need to buy all four of these volumes..you won't regret it..

I have absolutely loved reading this series, so disappointed that it has come to an end.I really enjoyed it because it’s different from the others. Thank you for writing such an amazing book that has kept me busy, involved and In love.
