You were smart to question this. The bright green light is very deceiving. When I look at this screen it hard to read, and I always keep a flashlight next to the phone in order to see the screen. I just went back on to Amazon website and if you do the same and scroll down you will see a picture of this model # with the "real" picture. Two different versions are on the website.
