It's not going to block all light. Not even close. BUT, it does block a little more light than most blinds I've used. I liked it. The install was easier than expected. Though I didn't bother with the fancy thingy at the top. Goes up and down nicely. Seems well made. Keep in mind that I've never bought expensive blinds before. This is the most $ I've ever spent on blinds. And I spent it because I was tired of blinds that fall apart within a couple weeks. So far, so good with these.

The blind after being put up is great but it came with the end cap broke in half. I didn't want to use it so I did not contact the company. I previously ordered a blind from Amazon and that one came with the top dented. I also put that one up covering up the dent. I think they have to rethink their packaging.

Really nice, fairly easy to install. Had to cut them all down, tho. Didn't use the trim pieces either. So, a little high price considering they didn't fit and had parts we didn't need. But better than the $5 vinyls we had.

These blinds are sturdy, well made, great material and simple to install. They're also great because they keep the light out perfectly and they are very pretty. I love them.

Great looking quality blinds. Easy to hang. Would recommend to a friend.
