The first few days were difficult. I started keeping a close eye on him and, throughout the day, I would randomly lure him in with a treat just to get him used to going in and out of it. I'd praise/treat like crazy everytime he used it, and slowly he started to become more comfortable with it. Now he's a pro! I bought the Tofu flushable litter and cleaning it is so hassle free. We tried a normal litter box before this one and he hated it. The sides were too high, the box was too small, and the texture was very slippery, so he was sliding around awkwardly in it. This litter box has a more textured plastic and lower sides, making it much easier for him to use, and it's plenty big enough for him to spin around in circles before he finally squats. Haha! I also like the colors it comes in. The only con about this box is how pricey it is. Overall, awesome product! Pros: -large -textured plastic -low sides -appealing colors Cons: -expensive I've seen a person or two mention that they had a hard time getting the clumps unstuck form the bottom of the box. I just turn the pooper scooper over and scrape the clump forward and it releases easily. Review: Works well for my senior cat - Our 13-yrs old cat changed his bathroom behavior suddenly, which means pooping and then peeing outside of litter box nearly one month ago. After trying changing litter more frequently and exploring different litter brands, we bought this litter box designed for senior cat, the large one, since I read that the box should be 1.5 times the cat length. Before receiving this box, my cat already found a second location for dump...which is in my shoe shelf. It really takes time to clean the smell (not be able to clear it) and frustrates everyone. After receiving the new litter box for senior cat, he did not touch the old litter box, and went with this new one in his second dump spot for a whole day now. So I think it must be something wrong with the old litter box that compelled my cat to act unbeholden. It also means that this new litter box for senior cat works well. I do not regret for paying 40 dollars or so and get this new one, the quality worths. And it looks and feels really sturdy for the material. The ONLY problem now that we encountered with this litter box is that the large one is really large, and make it a little bit hard to put litter box liners in. I'm using some lines bought randomly from supermarket and Jonny Cat Heavy Duty Jumbo Liners. You have to stretch the liners hard in order to cover the four corners of the box. Otherwise, your cat will just skip the liner and pee inside the box directly, which means that you have to clean it after throwing out the liners. Overall, this is a product that I recommend to everyone who has senior animals at home. ## Features - VETERINARIAN RECOMMENDED: Specially designed for senior cats, arthritic cats, and pets that struggle with traditional cat litter boxes or enclosed spaces. Is it titanium?** A: It has been a life saver for my parents Maltese who was having multiple accidents everywhere. She was 14 & now uses a pad in this litter box. She needed a low side as she has arthritis & vad eyesight so it couldn't flip or slide. She had to feel secure. This box is heavier with a lip so no sharp edges. She now feels secure enough to use it constantly and rare accidents at 15. I figured out with failing eyes, she couldn't judge the edges of the pad on a flat floor, the box gives definition to the boundaries. Tried the tray in the bottom of a crate, but she tripped on the metal so wouldn't use it. A couple of plastic bins either weren't large enough or the wrong shape. For me, having pets use a designated spot rather than multiple places made this worth it! πŸ‘πŸ™„ Btw, puppy & kitty boxes are exactly the same except for colors. **Q: Is a cover available for this litter box? The low-level entry is great but the sides are also low allowing urination outside the box occasionally.** A: Try using the the company's dog version of this box (PuppyGo Here) and get the X large size one. It's 28 inches long (sides) by 22 inches wide (front and back). The left/right sides and the back are 9 inches high and the front tapers down to a 3 inch high entrance. **Q: Why is it on a non prime account this item (for 24x20x5) is 24.99 with 14.60 shipping but on a prime account it is 39.99 for the same item?** A: I just want to get a 20 X 15 pan I'm a prime Amazon . I will not pay $12.00 for shipping,Sorry I can not do business with you. **Q: What litter box liners can be used with senior litter box?** A: It is large and wide. Might need a large garbage bag. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great litter box for small dogs! *by B***R on March 4, 2020* I bought this box (the largest size) for my small dog (7 pounds) a couple weeks ago. Getting this stopped our 14 yo senior kitty from peeing horizontally out of a more conventional, higher walled litter box. She would just get all four paws in and let her rip. It was truly awful. With this box it’s easier for her to get in and out and she started squatting again. It solved all of our horizontal peeing woes. She even covers some of her turds again with this box, rather than 100% abandoning them and stinking everyone out. The younger kitty also has no issues using this box too. Works great! The box feels sturdy in construction. It is average/normal in its ease to clean (in other words it is not difficult to clean). The only thing is you need to clean dirty litter a bit more frequently due to it being a shallower pan. The lower walls also make it easier for the cats to scatter the litter out of the box. We have one of those plastic litter grip mats underneath which helps a lot too. Overall we were really happy with this product. It served it’s purpose for us and has made both us and our senior kitty happier. The younger cat is 100% neutral on the change but seems happier to have a cleaner roommate again. ## Frequently Bought Together - KittyGoHere Senior Cat Litter Box 1 Pack, Large Misty Gray Low Entrance Kitty Litter Box, Sized for Cats Comfort, Perfect for Senior and Arthritic Cats, Made in USA - Drymate Original Cat Litter Mat, Contains Mess from Box, Protects Floors, Urine-Proof, Machine Washable, Soft on Kitty Paws, Absorbent, Waterproof (USA Made, Recycled Content) (28”x36”)(GreyStripePaw) - MEEXPAWS Cat Litter Box Enclosure Splash Guard Extra Large 28L Γ— 21.5W x 18H inch, Light Weight Plastic Sheets with Cat Litter Mat Easy Clean (White) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ro/products/292845112-kittygohere-senior-cat-litter-box-small-litter-pan-small-misty](https://www.desertcart.ro/products/292845112-kittygohere-senior-cat-litter-box-small-litter-pan-small-misty) --- *Product available on Desertcart Romania* *Store origin: RO* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
